This is the first conversation fic I've done, so feedback would be awesome.
Set in Ianto's bed, in his flat at about 5:00 in the moning :)
"Ianto"?
"Mmmm".
"I love you".
"I know Jack".
"No, really Ianto. I love you".
"Oh. I love you too".
"Really"?
"Of course I do"!
"Okay…"
"Yup".
"…"
"Alright Jack, what's on your mind".
"You".
"Are you going to elaborate on that"?
"You are on my mind".
"I'm guessing that that's not in a happy way"?
"I wouldn't say that. Every thought about you is happy".
"Really"?
"Yeah".
"You're not lying"?
"Yeah… I mean no"!
"Jack, just tell me… Oh!"
"Oh, what"?
"You're thinking about me dying".
"Don't say it like that"!
"Am I right though"?
"Maybe".
"Jack. Listen to me now".
"Mmm".
"You listening"?
"Yup".
"I'm not dying anytime soon".
"How do you know?!? You could drop dead at any moment"!!!!
"Jack".
"Yeah, yeah I know. You're a 'perfectly fit and healthy young man who is not in any danger unless paper comes to life and you get eaten by all the files in the archives".
"Jack c'mon, take it seriously. I don't go on field missions, I don't fight any aliens and the most strenuous task I have, apart from putting up with you, is fixing and filing the archives".
"Oh ha ha ha Ianto. You could get hit in the head by some strange alien artefact on top of a cupboard or maybe Myfanwy or Janet could feel like Welshman for lunch one day. There are lots of things that could go wrong"!
"Jack. I love you".
"But Ianto…wait… I love you too"?
"Thank you".
"Ianto"?
"Jack, please. It is five am. Too early to be talking about my demise. Let me sleep".
"I just… I just worry about you sometimes... when I can't see yo-…"

"Mmm, what was that for, not that I didn't enjoy it but…"

"Oh".
"Will you shut up, or do I have to continuously kiss you until you fall asleep".
