Chapter One: New Moon
A/N: I don't own Harry Potter and this has really nothing to do with Stephenie Meyer's amazing series, Twilight. This chapter is the beginning of the Marauder's sixth year at Hogwarts. And, as another disclaimer, I am influenced by Stephenie Meyers, and I write (at times) very similar to her. If you haven't read Twilight, everyone is perceived as being very handsome or gorgeous, and this is in my writing. Enjoy and review, please!

Sirius Black was glad to be in front of the Hogwarts Express. This was the official end of his semi-torturous summer holiday. He was finally free of his biological parents and was going to go back to Hogwarts where he belonged.
Sirius' parents were very cruel to him simply because he was not like other pure blood boys. He disagreed with his parents and younger brother constantly. One night, his parents tortured him because he refused to say that half breeds, Muggle borns, and homosexuals were vile monsters who should be put to death immediately. Sirius had enough after being locked in his room for five days without food or water and ran away. After leaving his parents' home, he lived with his best friend, James Potter, and his parents, William and Elizabeth Potter.
The biggest reason why Sirius disagreed with his parents about their so-called vile monsters was for many reasons. Sirius had a friends like Lily Evans, who were Muggle born, but unlike his parents, Sirius believed anyone who possessed the ability to perform magic should be able to go to a wizarding school to get training. Sirius also had befriended Remus Lupin, a very quiet but nice bloke his age who just so happened to be a werewolf. Sirius had also discovered that he was in love with Remus, and therefore was gay.
James and Sirius grabbed a compartment on the Hogwarts Express and waited for the last of their companions to join them. The boys knew that Lily Evans and Remus Lupin would be in a Prefects meeting and would not show up until the train was already rolling, but they had expected Lily's two best friends to be coming in any time.
The three Gryffindor girls were just as beautiful as the guys. Lily had blood red curls to her mid back and glowing emerald green eyes. Rose Potter, James' cousin, was also very beautiful, with long raven black hair, layered in waves to the middle of her back and shimmering dark topaz eyes. Mary MacDonald was Hogwarts blond beauty with straight, platinum blond hair and beautiful light blue eyes.
A few minutes later, Mary and Rose showed up in the compartment as the train began to move. They chatted about their summers (Sirius and James loved to act really girly in front of the girls). Not even an hour later, Lily and Remus came in the compartment. Remus looked amazing to Sirius. The lycan must have grown a few inches (as Sirius did) and his golden hair grew out (as did Sirius'). He looked very tired, but happy to be with his friends.
The next thing Sirius and his friends knew, they were on their way as sixth year Gryffindors.
