"Nothingness Pain"

He sighed
And took a breath
Of nothingness.

How could he be?
If there was nothing
Even to see?

Blackness around me;
Breathing isn't easy.
Why can't I see?

Have I been forgotten;
Have I been left?
Why aren't you answering me?

I must have lost my voice
Somewhere along the way,
Because I can no longer use my words.

I think I'm lost;
Lost in nothing
But a place of black.

Do you know where I am?
Can you help me?

That means I can too,
But I feel you slipping.

I'm scared

Breathing in nothingness.
