Heeeeelllllloooooo there :D Its my birthday and guess what I got? Seasons 2-5 of primeval! (already had season 1) so I'm currently watching season 4 (*shrug* I wanted some Becker/Jess to end my wonderful 16th birthday) and during the start of the second episode of S4 when Jess offers her flat for the use of Conner I had the instant thought of "I wonder if seeing as Becker knows Connor best would he become protective of Jess and her things?" well here you go...

"Hey!" Jess yells as she chases after the retreating Connor "you can use the computer at my place, Its warm and comphy and feel free to raid the fridge"
For a moment Connor stands stock still totally unsure as what he is required to say at this point. Staring down at the piece of paper with Jess's neat handwriting on he still cannot seem to form a single sentence.
"come on, its cheaper than some internet cafe" the brunette insists shoving the paper and keys further in his direction. Carefully he allows the young woman to place both items in his hands but never taks his gaze away from her "you don't know me" he states finally putting his thoughts into sound She shakes her head slightly, a bright smile on her face "I've read the files, I know you" she says a determind set in her voice Clutching the piece of paper tighter in his hand Connor looks down then back up again shifting to ease how uncomfortable he feels "Thank you" She nods smiles then turns around and is gone as quickly as she came. Connor looks from the piece of paper, up to the young woman and back again relief running through him. She was right, it would be cheaper than a internet cafe.
"Don't brake anything in her home Temple" the man in question jumps as he hears Becker's voice beside him "or I'll brake you. I don't care if you just spent a year with dinosaurs. You. Don't. Upset. Jess. Understood?" Before Connor can try anything like feebly defend himself Becker has already turned on his heel and gone leaving him totally shaken up. What was all that about?
If Connor didn't know any better he'd say that Action man had a crush, and on a certain Miss Jess Parker. Emotionally inept Becker, had a crush? Connor shook his head furiously. There was no way, he must be tired Connor reasoned. Laughing off his crazy theory he turns and heads for the elevator.
Then he remembers that Becker threatened him.
