Grissom watched as she walked off, not sure why his heart suddenly seemed to feel a bit hollow. Suddenly, he hurried after her. "Catherine!"
"What?" she asked, turning to face him.
"Um...How important is this business?"
"Why?" she asked.
"Well, if it's nothing too pressing, I thought that maybe we could have breakfast together?"
Catherine looked him steadily in the eye for a long while, catching a glimpse of something she had been hoping to see. 'I was so close to having sex,' she thought, but smiled and her friend and said, "It can wait. I'd love to have breakfast."
