Author's Note: This is just a short crack story inspired by watching a video on YouTube video called JULIAN SMITH - Jump, by Julian Smith, obviously, haha. It's ridiculously addictive. I watched it once, and had the urge to watch it over and over again. I must have watched it like 10 times already. It's so retarded, but amazing. So, I decided to make a one-shot out of it. Also, I want to mention, just because I'm making these random one-shots doesn't mean I've abandoned my other stories, I'm still working completely on Seek You Out, although Catch Us If You Can, and Help Me Remember are on hold for the time being-just until I finish the second chapter of SYO. More information on those stories are on my profile, as well as a poll. Go check it out, and vote, please. I want to know how many of you are interested in a possible new story. ^^
Warnings: None. Unless you count Axel and Roxas being completely retarted and out of character, then by all means, you are warned.
Axel opened the back door of his car and crawled in, looking around for his booster cable. His car wasn't starting and he was pretty sure the battery was dead. He backed out of the car and shut the door as he straightened up, holding the booster cable in one hand. His search was successful. Now he just had to find someone who was willing to give him a boost.
He looked around then spotted a with blond spiky hair standing next to a white car. Ah, a complete stranger, but he looked friendly enough…sorta.
"Hey excuse me," Axel called to the boy as he opened his door, leaning his arm against it. The boy who was in the process of getting in his own car looked over. "Do you think you could give me a jump?" He gestured to his car with the same hand that was holding the booster cable.
The blond stopped, tilting his head slightly as he processed the question, his imagination taking the question and twisting it so it was completely different from what Axel meant.
He and the redhead were in the park, grinning happily as they played leapfrog, not giving any notice to anyone who might be watching. A squirrel skittered up a nearby tree, pausing briefly to watch the two humans leaping gaily throughout the park then continued on quickly as though horrified over what it saw.
After their game of leapfrog which went on down the street and then back to the park, he and the redhead started doing a demented version of jumping jacks as they leapt into the air and spreading their arms and legs out in a very retarded way.
A boy with spiky brown hair was out for a jog, earphones in, slowed to stop and took his earphones out as he saw the strange display. He watched them for a few seconds before shaking his head and continued on pretending he didn't see that.
The blond blinked, brought back to the reality by the complete stupidity of that little vision. "Uh-uh…" he muttered, shaking his head and starting to get into his car.
Axel watched him and groaned. Of course, it was such a stupid idea to ask a random stranger to give him a jump. Why didn't he say boost? "What was I thinking…" he groaned, and then looked over at the blond who almost shut his car door. "Sorry!" He called, waving in a backing off sort of gesture as he got into his own car. "Sorry about that!"
Author's Note: There. I hope you all enjoyed that bought of randomness and I definitely urge you all to go watch that video. I guarantee it'll be something you'll watch, be all 'wtf?' and then watch it again and again. I guess this will also make up for the weird chatspeak title for my other one shot I just put up recently. XD
Oh, and if any of you have any ideas for one-shots, I'll gladly take them, I tend to do better on one-shots than my stories at the moment.
