It was raining as the truck pulled into the parking lot. Lana was working late into the afternoon because her new employee never showed up.
"Well that's the last time I hire someone inexperienced". Lana muttered while walking up to Chloe. As she handed the blond her coffee, she noticed thatshe looked awfully cheerful.
"What's with you, haven't seen you this happy sense.....well I can't remember." Lana asked with an arched eyebrow.
"My cousin, Faith, is coming to town. She's moving here all the way from New York. Chloe said, with a big smile. "She's totally been my best friend since, well since my mom left".
Almost as if on cue, a woman walked through the door. Her piercing emerald eyes, and raven hair complemented her skin perfectly. Not too light, not too dark, she was like one of those women you see in victoria secret. Even though her hair was stuck to her face, and her clothes were socking wet. Her black tank top and hip hugger jeans just made her that much more beautiful. Somehow, there was something different about her. Not in a bad way, just different, as if her attitude, the way she held herself, didn't go with the way she looked. She seemed very tough, but in a sexy warrior princess way.
"Chloe?" a voice came "Chloe, is that you?" Chloe turned around and a huge smile came across her face. "Fath, oh my god you look great", and the two cousins gave each other a great hug. So where are you staying? Chloe asked. " a small motel at the end of town. Just until I get a job and get my own place.
Lana, this is my cousin, faith. Chloe said to Lana., So, you're the one who's taken my place is Clark Kent's heart huh?, Well at lest your pretty. Lana could help but be a little jealous, and flatered at the same time. So Clark liked her before, but Lana stole him away.
Well Chloe, I better go check in, I just wanted to say hi and let you know I got to town alright.
As faith started out the door, Clark walked in. As he walked over to were Chloe and Lana were, he couldn't help but stair, He could swear he recognized that woman from somewhere. Faith couldn't help herself, she turned around and staired right back at Clark. Finally, Clark realized what he was doing. So he quickly turned away and started talking to Lana.
As Faith started to turn around, she ran right into someone. He knocked her clear off her feet and on to the floor. As she looked up she couldn't believe her eyes, there in front of her was a very handsome, very bald, very very bald, man.
As Lex stare back, he couldn't believe his eyes. This woman, she was so very beautiful and those eyes, their was just something there, something begging to be let out. So, Lex let out a hand to help her up.
"I'm sorry" Faith said half dazed.
