Chapter One
The Day I Saw Him
/\\\/\/\
I have never been too sexually interested in . . . well anyone really. I mean there were a couple of guys in my sophomore year. But I never liked girls even though I'm a guy. Those guys were fairly hot but they weren't all that interesting. Then I met him. It was a Wednesday. Two weeks into the start of the term in my junior year of high school at Avalon High School. I had switched from physical sciences last period to biology. He was the hottest looking thing I had seen since I found one of my sister Morgana's Demigod magazines back in ninth grade. His hair was silky and gold. His eyes the bluest I had ever seen. He was thin, but not as thin as me. He was more muscular as well.
His name was Arthur. And he was totally straight. I never could have guessed how hard I would fall for him. Especially since the very first thing he ever said to me was,
"You idiotic clotpole!" After I had accidently spilled what could have been acid on him. I wasn't sure. It could have been orange juice.
"Oh no! I'm sorry, are you okay?" I quickly turned back to the test tubes we had been using in the experiment to check which one it was. Thank the gods, it was the orange juice.
"Hey!" He waved a hand in front of my face and said, "Aren't you going to clean this up?" He gestured to where the liquid had soaked his sleeve. I was kinda surprised he was talking to me now. He had shunned me before as we worked on the experiment.
I glanced at his forearm and nod.
"You don't have to worry it's not the acid." I state dismissively. He huffed impatiently and rolled his eyes.
"I know it's not the acid but you still spilled this horribly sticky stuff all over me." He held his arm under my nose imperiously and declared,
"Clean it up." I give him an incredulous look and yelp.
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No fudging way! Clean it up yourself."
"I'm not the one who spilled it. You were." Good fucking gods! Does he know how hot he is? One look at him tells me yes. Yes he does.
