A/N this is not the first chapter this is just a taster.

I was doing well. I was in my 5th month and hadn't made any contact with mortals apart from Renée and Charlie and that was only on the phone. I e-mailed Angela a lot; she was having a great time with Ben at college. We were meant to be at college but it was too much of a risk for me to be around humans with my current situation.
My angel, Edward would go to town if there was anything I needed, although I didn't need much now. It was a long drive as we lived in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of Alaska so he usually ran and would only be away for approximately 18 minutes each time. He could get there and back in the 8 minutes the other 10 were spent walking around at human pace which greatly annoyed him.
