INTERESTING THOUGHT...
What would the characters say if they read the fanfics people write? I was thinking today how a conversation between a "fanfic writer" and a character would go... I'd imagine something like this...
FFW: Gibbs is staring into the distance, a thoughtful look upon his face... he MUST be thinking of his dead wife and daughter
Gibbs: (looking confused) no, I was thinking of the case... someone has to with these clowns...
FFW: Whilst Gibbs is staring into the distance Abby bounds into the room... Her overly cheery demeanor MUST mean that she is covering for a deep, dark secret...
ABBY: I'm sorry, wrong again... you see they reduced the price of caf-pow if you buy it in bulk... well, that and that I found an exciting clue!
FFW: As Abby is blabbering about her clue, McGee is looking at her with a look of remorse in his face, clearly he is contemplating how alone he is...
McGee: Thanks for reminding me there, but I'm actually just trying to concentrate, she may have solved the case here...
FFW:Despite McGees attention being on the blabbering scientist, Dinozzo throws a piece of rolled up paper at Ziva, clearly displaying his undying love for her...
Tony: Actually freaky writer, I'm just completely bored... but I like the way your thinking there...
FFW: During this entire conversation Ziva stared in the general area of the group, she doesn't seem to be paying attention, clearly she is thinking of the bad things that haunt her...
Ziva: Well that is absurd! I'm simply tired, and it makes it difficult to understand all of Abigails gobbly-gook!
FFW: Meanwhile Ducky is sitting in Autopsy, no bodies to analyse... He must feel ostracized and miserable...
Ducky: Oh hello, I was actually just reading up on some old journals with a wee cup of tea, theres the most fascinating case where...
FFW: Clearly Palmer feels inadequate, it would not be surprising if he dropped things and then stuttered, so we should write him off as having an important role...
Palmer: I'm very well qualified you know, and learning more every day... I don't mean to be a clutz - it just happens sometimes...
