Chapter 1- A Fallen Dragon

It is said that the appearance of time is more like a ball of string, all of it wrapped around itself until it reaches its end, and during this time there are fixed points that happen. A death of a mortal, the creation of new life and so on however there are also places within time that can be changed whether for the better or for the worse these points in time can be changed and therefore will change the future and create a whole new timeline.

Now for whether it will be for the better or for the worse one of these points in time will be changed, the magic guild known as Fairy Tail had just returned from an alternate reality known as Edolas and with them they gained a new member known as Pantherlilly who was a species of animal known as an Exceed.

The guild was like it was normally within the guild hall with the members happily drinking, brawling and causing untold chaos for their master however the brawl today was missing something. In one of the far corners of the guild cloaked in darkness by the shadows a lone figure sat away from everyone else.

The figure sat slumped, his pale hand reached towards a whiskey bottle that stood near nine other bottles, the hand was shaking greatly as if it was shivering, the shaking symptom was the result of what is known as Parkinson diseases, and so upon grabbing hold of the bottle the glass began to tremble as the figure brought it towards his mouth, taking another large gulp of the alcohol

On the side of the table was a lit candle given off a small amount of light, thus allowing the figures appearance to be seen revealing the features of the famous dragon slayer that was usually filled with so much joy and happiness looked nothing like he used to.

The candle showed off his onyx black eyes that were puffy, blood shot and had massive bags underneath showing lack of sleep, his spiky salmon pink hair was a complete mess, his skin was completely pale, his hands shaken terribly. His normal sleeveless attire was traded for a big furry coat which hid away the fact that the rest of his body was shivering underneath, finally a bucket was near him that had a mixture of what looked to be vomit and blood filling it up

Draconem Fever. The deadliest virus to ever invade a dragon's systems, many dragons had fallen victim to its deathly grasp or had simply gone insane from the pain and torment it created for them, cracked eyesight that renders those that are lucky with blurry vision, the less fortunate would become blind until the virus was destroyed. Those however are not the only symptoms as the virus causes mass blood clotting around organs and inside veins that the body must eject the blood the only way it can which is by vomiting it up are leaking out from any sockets it has available such as the nose, ears and even the eyes, many more symptoms could be accounted for that overall made the victim of the fever suffer in complete agony and be tormented in their own personal hell.

The fire dragon slayer sat alone depressed and almost suicidal due to the pain he was going through, his blood shot eyes shifted all around the guild hall, stopping now and then upon certain individuals that he had recently grown to hate

Many of the guild members seemed to have forgotten that he had increased hearing and so could hear what they were saying. He could always hear about how he seemed sick and ill however none of them would ask what was wrong, they would just point at him like he was a museum exhibit and would actually insult him behind the dragon slayers back

A sudden burst of loud laughter roared through out the guild causing Natsu to turn away towards the origin of the laughter, his eyes landing on the middle table where his heart sank further into depression when he saw the image. His best friend Lucy Heartfillia was happily sitting next to Gray, the resident ice wizard and Natsu's rival, his arm wrapped around her as she snuggled up to him. Around the table was Erza, Mira, Levy and Lisanna who they had found alive in Edolas and returned with them.

However, what upset him the most was the little dragon slayer sitting happily along with them, when they had first met, Natsu had taken a great shining towards Wendy Marvel and she even became like a little sister to him, the two only grew closer due to the events in Edolas where the two slayers were having their magic drained from them.

Now however he couldn't even look at her without feeling disgust rise up within him, he couldn't tell whether it was due to the draconem fever messing with his emotions but whenever he saw the young sky slayer now he felt anger, hatred and disgust rise up within him.

She would rather side with humans that had abandoned him and left him to suffer in hell alone than at least try to make him comfortable, she was a dragon slayer like himself, an endangered race of wizards and yet she would rather hang out with betrayers than with her own kind.

The negative emotions that rose up within his chest caused the draconem fever to mix up again, another wave of blood poured out of his mouth as he leaned over towards the bucket, the fifteen bottles of whiskey hadn't really done anything to help, the only thing the alcohol was good for was putting him to sleep and making sure he stayed there without waking up later in the night

That was another symptom of draconem fever that Natsu mainly hated the most, the dragon slayer had always tried to keep his emotions in check and would usually show his more positive emotions knowing that an angry dragon is much worse than any dragon, however the problem with the virus affecting his emotions is that typically a dragon who suffers from it soon becomes blinded by their negative emotions and would turn into a raging beast that in the end would only be hunted down by its own kind.

"Where is that bumbling fireball of a team mate anyway" Natsu was interrupted by a loud voice yelling out, the voice hiccupped right after showing that they were drunk however Natsu couldn't believe who it was

Lucy was sitting up straight with a glass of wine in her hand, the scene in front of him finally caused his heart to shatter as his eyes lowered towards Lucy's right shoulder of her top was lowered showing off a tattoo of an ouroboros dragon cloaked in flames. An intense burning suddenly engulfed his heart making Natsu clutch his heart as he soon found it hard to breathe.

Natsu knew what was happening to him and finally decided to let go of the hope that was keeping him in the guild. After all what good is a mate when they turn their back on you and abandon you, the tattoo like mark began to fade away on Lucy's body, the pain in Natsu's chest didn't leave, only seeming to increase

"He's usually destroying something in, here isn't he?" Lucy asked making everyone nod, the sickly Natsu watched on with intent, doing his best to listen in on this conversation

"You know, now that I think about it he's probably hiding away from the master. Did you know that on his most recent job not only did he burn down an entire port but he also destroyed three luxury houses as well as a museum that had sacred artefacts that predated two eras ago"

Mirajane giggled causing laughter to go around the entire guild hall, even little Wendy seemed to giggle and join in on mocking Natsu, perhaps unintentionally, however it still made Natsu's small hatred for the young dragon slayer to grow.

Natsu was thinking about quickly leaving due to the fact that his mate mark was now breaking down as well as the draconem fever messing with his body, instead the fire dragon slayer decided to watch on hoping that no one else would join in whilst not believing what his best friend was saying right now, as well as Mirajane releasing private information on that job. Laughter continued around the guild until someone that Natsu actually didn't expect to, stood up.

"It's not manly to destroy something so manly. The idiot should at least be suspended from the guild" Elfman yelled out crushing Natsu's thoughts about the Strauss sibling protecting him, anger and hatred also filled Natsu up. He always hated the way Elfman would call himself the manliest man as well as saying man a thousand time

The dragon slayer never forgave the Strauss sibling for what he did to Lisanna who at the time was the only person that didn't mock Natsu for believing in Dragons as well as being a dragon slayer, Lisanna was also his first ever friend in the world and his heart shattered when he heard of her death although he slowly managed to get over it.

"Think how quiet and peaceful this guild hall would be without all the random fighting he starts as well" Macao yelled out with a mug of ale in his hand, Wakaba was right next to him cheering on the purple flare mage

"We'd finally be able to drink in peace too" a drunk Cans added

"Yeah, I'd actually be able to read without fear of loud interruptions ad the possibility of my books getting burned" Levy said making Gajeel's eyes flash with disappointment however he didn't say anything

"Not to mention the savings we'd have from not constantly having to replace all of the things he breaks and burns whilst he's here and on missions" Wakaba decided to input his own opinion on the matter

"C'mon gramps think of all the money we'd save from him not going on missions and destroying entire cities. You should at least suspend him for a while to teach him a lesson"

"Natsu was always one for destruction. Maybe that's why Fairy Tail mages has a bad reputation" Romeo spoke up thinking about the way other kids bullied him because his father worked in Fairy Tail

Natsu's anger began to rise even further as darkness began to wrap around his heart. The heat around Natsu was beginning to rise making those closest to him sweat. One of those was in fact Gajeel Redfox who was not only sweating due to the heat, but sweating due to the fact that a dragon's rage mixed in with the anger generated by the Draconem Fever would mean that Natsu would try to tear anyone apart

"Our missions would go a lot smoother too along with doing a lot more good for people" Erza added, oblivious as usual to what was happening around her as she normally was when it came to her strawberry cheesecake

"Juvia thinks that it would be for the best if Natsu was suspended for a while" you could probably guess who said that

"It would also mean we'd get all the money from the job reward too! Plus I could get better locks so I wouldn't get any unwanted visits in the middle of the night" Lucy said aloud making others laugh with her whilst Gray smirked

"Well you shouldn't have to worry about that when I'm there" the stripped smiled making Natsu grit his teeth, his eyes burned into the back of Gray's head and every part of his dragonic instincts told him to rip the ice princess's dam head off, however the last comment made Natsu's anger skyrocket

"I could also get money for fish and wouldn't have to worry about him burning them all to ash" Happy the blue exceed said as he sat on Lisanna's shoulder

"Well you won't have to worry about that when living with me instead of that pyromaniac" Lisanna spoke up making Natsu's eyes widen, he couldn't believe that not only Happy mocked him like all the others were but he abandoned him for Lisanna and not only that but his first ever real friend insulted him

"He was always a big ball of flaming gas" the ever so sweet Mira giggled, soon after everyone was laughing as more and more people entered the conversation, mocking, insulting and overall making the dragon slayer feel alone in the world, the only people that haven't said anything was Gajeel who couldn't look Natsu in the eyes and Wendy who was too busy laughing along with the rest of the guild acting innocent in it all.

Choking up what looked to be almost another pint of blood Natsu had enough of listening to those he thought as his friends mock him, slowly getting up to, his knees wobbling the dragon slayer felt like he was going to collapse. Quickly adjusting the dragon slayer began to move around the outer edges of the guild hall, making sure to stick to the shadows so he wouldn't have to deal with anyone.

soon reaching the job requests Natsu noticed Nab was there as usual however tried to ignore him, however 'tried' being the key word in that sentence as soon as Natsu noticed the Indian looking man grin at him and made a terrible mistake

"Hey Natsu. Thinking of destroying another town again" Nab joked thinking that Natsu was actually in on all the mocking and that he wouldn't mind another joke.

Natsu however narrowed his eyes as soon as Nab had tried to make the joke, the fever had brought his anger and rage to an all-time high and the dragon slayer needed to vent on something soon, Nab was just the unfortunate person to make him snap

*SMASH*

Many of the guild members stopped their laughing and turned towards the job request board where the loud crashing was heard, the scene they saw was Nab's broken body in a heap of splinters and broken pieces of wood from what used to be the job board, along with an enraged Natsu marching out of the guild with a job in hand

It took a few minutes for the guild members to have the scene settle in before many of them actually began to feel regret knowing that the dragon slayer had heard them. Team Natsu or Team Lucy as it was usually called now just laughed it knowing what the dragon slayer was like.

Erza however being the usual rule enforcer of the guild took off quickly, re-equipping a sword in preparation for Natsu's punishment, she slammed open the guild doors only to see the large furred coat that Natsu had been wearing to stop him shivering laid on the floor all torn and shredded, puddles of blood laid all over the floor as a small trail headed towards the murky east forest just outside the border of Magnolia

He could feel the wind pass right by him as his vision became blurrier and blurrier by every passing minute, he wasn't entirely sure what happened as one moment he was heading towards the death machine known as a train.

Then the next thing he knew the smell of blood, vomit, mud and rotting flesh filled his nose, smelling even worse thanks to his dragon sense of smell. A large figure barrelled into him, large sword like claws digging into his limbs whilst dagger like teeth sank into his neck.

He could fell the blood pouring out of his body, leaving a trail for whoever to pick up and follow although the way it was going he was most likely going to be dead when they arrived.

Whatever was carrying him dragged him into the murky east wood forest and continued. Whatever the creature was it had large amounts of stamina and could move at lighting speed. Soon enough he could no longer smell the scents that filled Magnolia and an entirely new smell filled his nose.

Natsu groaned as he spat out a glob of blood, blinking several times seemed to make it so his vision began to clear up. The smell of the creature seemed to worsen and Natsu got a clear look at the creature's arm that was gripping him.

A large, bulky arm covered in dark grey fur was wrapped around his chest, patches of the fur were missing revealing scars that layered the skin that was hidden beneath all the fur. Natsu's eyes moved down towards the hand where he saw large claw like fingers that ended with razor sharp nails.

Growling was suddenly heard as whatever was carrying Natsu dropped him like a sack of potatoes, soon enough whimpering was heard making the dragon slayer slowly turn his head around.

In front of Natsu and what the beast was growling at was a small slim young girl who could be no older than thirteen years of age, panting as she was trying to draw in breath, her hair was raven black and braided into two curls on the side of her head. Her eyes were a glowing green colour that had tears leaking out from them as a large black bruise covered her left one. She some sort of purple dress that covered her body however it didn't hide her small, skinny frame and the cuts that covered her body.

A howl suddenly blew out Natsu's ears making his head snap towards the creature that kidnapped him, now not only was the smell making Natsu want to puke but it was also the appearance of whatever this thing was.

The creature appeared to be twice the size of an average man, appearing as a large bipedal wolf with its body being covered in the same dark grey fur, however like the arm there were patches of the fur missing that revealed decaying skin.

Its fangs were chipped, jagged and broken whilst piercing through the skin, what was horrifying about the monster however was that whilst it's head appeared like a wolf's head, next to it was a large eagle's head that seemed to glare at the young girl, sprouting out from its tail bone was a long scaly tail with a snake's head on the end of it, finally dried blood caked the human like claws and wolf fangs as its blood red eyes stared hungrily at the defenceless girl.

Doing what he normally would do Natsu let his instinct kick in, slowly getting to his feet whilst throwing up blood, the dragon slayer stumbled in between the girl and the horrifying creature, his hands quickly covered in flames however they weren't their normal glowing orange colour.

The flames surrounding Natsu's hands were stone grey and felt dead, the magical aura they gave off seemed to be filled with sadness, pain and depression.

"Stay behind me" Natsu announced as he turned his head and showed a strained smile towards the crying girl who simply nodded, the wolf like creature bared its fangs revealing a fork like tongue much like a snake would have

"C'mon then you over grown trash" Natsu growled right back as blood dripped out from his mouth, he could also feel the blood leaking out from his neck and wounds that the creature caused meaning he didn't have much time to put up a fight

The monstrous creature howled and charged right at Natsu, the said dragon slayer grinned and pulled his arm back, aiming right at the creatures face

"Fire Dragon Iron Fist" his flame covered fist slammed right into the cheek of the wolf head when it got close enough however it didn't even seem to faze it as the creature just barrelled into Natsu sending him crashing into a tree, in his weakened state his spine cracked against one of the branches causing it to snap and splinter, one of the large pieces soon impaled into his stomach causing internal bleeding and even more pain as Natsu slumped to the ground.

The girl could only watch as the person who tried to defend her was blown away all because she couldn't defend herself, she had already seen the injuries he had sustained and yet because she was so weak he had sustained even more.

She was always so weak and was never strong enough to stand up for herself, her father would always hit her, insult her and do everything in his power to make her feel wore about herself, and now because of that weakness she had to watch as the one person who actually ever stood up for her, tried to defend her from anything bleed out to death and then await death for itself to claim her which didn't seem to take long as she felt the creatures claws wrap around her neck

"I haven't finished with you yet" a voice spoke up causing the girl to move her eyes as she saw Natsu slowly getting to his feet, wiping away the blood from his mouth as he ripped off his tattered shirt revealing his muscular chest that was covered in wounds from where the creature punctured him as well as the large piece of wood sticking out from his chest, however what confused her was that for some reason when she looked into Natsu's eyes they seemed cracked like glass

"Fire Dragon Roar" a stream of fire shot out from Natsu's mouth attacking the creature and engulfing its back, it howled in pain however when the fire dispersed no mark even showed that the fire hurt it, the dragon slayers eyes widened as he watched as the creature simply dropped the girl and turned around to face him with ease showing that he wasn't affected by his breath attack

The creature growled and began to prowl towards the bleeding dragon slayer, as it came closer and closer the dragon slayers eyes scanned its body as fast as they could, every single thing had a weakness and it was only a matter of time until he discovered its weakness.

As it reached out to grab Natsu around his neck the strangest thing happened as a magic mobile flew out of nowhere and slammed into the creature's head, sending it flying into the trees, uprooting them from the earth and toppling them over.

Giving him the time, he needed Natsu's eyes landed onto part of the creature's arm where he saw bits of the decaying skin had been burnt away revealing the internal parts of it limb, grinning to himself Natsu now knew the creature's weakness and was ready to kill it.

Lighting his fist on fire once more Natsu rushed forwards towards his enemy that at the moment was disorientated seeing the patch of decaying flesh on the creature's stomach Natsu attacked the weak spot, his flames burning away the flesh making it howl in pain as the dragon slayers fist broken through and went deep into its body.

Although not expecting it Natsu didn't pay any attention as his eyes searched for another decaying spot, not seeing any at the moment he slammed his right hand into the cheek of the creature snapping its head to the left, it slightly stumbled revealing a patch of dead flesh near his ribs on the right.

Soon enough however his Draconem Fever decided to kick back in, his right eye soon appeared cracked like shattered glass making his vision go, blood rushed up to his throat causing him to choke and spit it out, unfortunately this was enough time for the creature to recover from the dragon slayers blow.

Natsu didn't expect the creature to have strength like an S-Class monster but as soon as the clenched fist of the creature's hand met Natsu's stomach the dragon slayer was sent flying into the magic mobile toppling it over as Natsu rolled over it. The sound of snapping was heard revealing that Natsu snapped a few bones.

"blagh" a small puddle of blood came out from Natsu's mouth as he slowly moved his head upwards, he saw the young girl crying her eyes out as she stared right into Natsu's cracked eyes, sniffing the air once more the dragon slayers eyes widened as he smelled a familiar scents heading towards his location, if he remembered correctly it smelt like the old man from Galuna Island.

Slowly getting to his feet, cracking could be heard as one of his legs buckled underneath the pressure, a snapped bone piercing through the skin making him roar out like a pained dragon.

Natsu soon felt the sword like claws piecing onto his right side as it growled right at him, it soon used its large amount of muscles to lift Natsu up and threw him back into the magic mobile, slamming into one of the doors, breaking it off completely.

Natsu now fully believed that this thing. Whatever it actually was had to at least be an S-Class monster, it would explain his strength and power but how did it get so close to civilisation without anyone noticing before, especially since it grabbed him right outside of the Fairy Tail guild hall.

Natsu's mind went blank on how to defeat it now after taking so much punishment along with dealing with the effect of the Draconem Fever.

The creatures wrapped around Natsu's neck lifting him up, the dragon slayer stared into the feral eyes of the beast, the wolf's head drooling maw of a mouth opened up as it moved closer to Natsu's throat intending on ripping it to pieces with its fangs

"Fire Dragon Iron Fist" Natsu weakly spoke as he spat blood out right onto the face of the creature, his flame covered fist punctured right into the decaying flesh that covered the creatures throat making it choke

Dropping Natsu onto the ground, the pink haired male grinned as he lit his entire body on fire, the stone-grey flames seemed to make the grass bellow Natsu wither away instead of burning it as the dragon slayer began to store all of his magic power into his hands

"Fire Dragon Splinter" as he spoke, Natsu moved towards the creature and slammed his fists together sending his flames to engulf the beast, as the fire surrounded it some of the flames wormed their way into the creature's internal body due to the change of his flames instead of burning the creature, the flames began to wither the beast from the inside out.

"Fire Dragon Brilliant Flame" using one last move, Natsu send a large ball of fire towards the beast launching it backwards and away from Natsu and the girl, falling to his knees Natsu felt every part of his body ache as blood began to pool around him, breathing in deep breaths of air Natsu turned around

Seeing the girl still crying and frozen in fear he moved towards her, grabbing a broken branch to use as a cane he stumbled towards her barely able to move himself. Managing to place a hand onto her shoulder he collapsed onto the ground just in front of her, the girl in reaction to this brought him into a hug as she felt his weight fell onto her

"you're okay now" she heard Natsu mumble as tears fell from her eyes, no one has ever protected her like that, no one has ever stood up for her before much less put their life on the line, to the girl he acted like something she read about when alone and sad. To her, he acted like a real father

"…Daddy" the girl mumbled quietly to herself testing out what it felt like to say the word as she was never allowed to say it before, it brought a smile to her face as through her sadness she found someone to look up to, someone that could care for her perhaps

A loud howl broke the girl from her thoughts and made Natsu begin to rise again, he sniffed the air and his eyes went wide, snapping his attention to the girl he pulled her up and pushed towards the north east which led towards the familiar scent of the old man on Galuna Island.

"You need to go" Natsu ordered making the girl stare at him as another howl piercing the silence

"But…"

Coughing as he reached his feet "I said you need to leave… go that way now… go!" he yelled out the last part freighting the girl slightly

Finally, a loud roar appeared as sound of metal breaking and creaking was heard, Natsu turned his head to see the wolf like creature running towards him its entire left side was now decaying from the effects of his flames and the right side didn't look much better.

"Go!... go, go!" Natsu yelled at the girl who finally turned around and began to retreat. The monster jumped off the magic mobile and just as Natsu turned back around, he received its claws right to the left side of his face, drawing three large claws marks that would no doubt scar, due to the force his body snapped back and the force buckled his knees making Natsu collapse onto the ground

The girl turned around to see the creature standing over Natsu, she could only watch as the beasts claw pieced Natsu in the front of his chest and began to drag him away, the girl could hear a few voices talking to one another.

She hadn't enough control over her magic to help the dragon slayer which was why her father had sent her here, however she couldn't just do nothing and watch as the only person who acted like a father to her was killed

The monster dragged Natsu as the dragon slayer groaned and made incoherent noise, his vision began to fade due to blood loss and pain, he could taste the blood that flowed from his face and into his mouth.

Soon enough the monster acted and lifted Natsu up only to impale him down onto the broken bottom half of a toppled tree causing large spiked like barks pieces to pierce his body in multiple places. He roared in agony and blood poured out from all over the place.

The monster seemed to somehow grin as it pulled out its claws only to stab Natsu once more, its feral eyes stared into Natsu's pain filled one, taking its claws out once more the creature moved towards Natsu's heart intent on plunging into the dragon slayers most vital organ

As Natsu stared into the eyes of his death he was content and happy, happy that for one last time he was able to help someone in their time of need, that he was able to protect someone from danger.

As the monster lowered his claws, Natsu closed his eyes as blood dribbled out from his mouth, he heard the beast howl and sniff the air making Natsu believe it was going to go after the girl. With one last burst of adrenaline Natsu used his left hand to grab hold of it bottom jaw, forcing open as its jagged teeth began to break through the skin of his finger

"Fi…Fire Dragon… Iron Fist" Natsu barely managed to speak as he forced his fist right into the creature's mouth, the flames burning the creature's mouth and throat whilst heading down towards its stomach and organs, the fist that Natsu plunged into the creature's throat soon broke out from the other side of its throat

Suddenly a wave like tomoe shot towards the creature blasting it away from the dying form of Natsu, slumping to the ground as Natsu's flames withered its organs away from the inside. The girl he had saved, who he also presumed that shot the tomoe was instantly by his side making him smile, he felt a tear splash onto his cheek as he felt his heart beginning to stop, her small hand gripped his making him smile.

At the moment he had no thought about Fairy Tail and those that betrayed him, the only thing that was going through Natsu's mind was if the girl was not unhurt and that even in his last moments of life the dragon slayer had managed to save someone's life.

"It's alright sweet pea" Natsu whispered as he barely had the strength to speak, the little nickname came from a woman Natsu overheard once when she spoke to her daughter "it can't hurt you any longer" more tears splashed onto his cheek, he could hear the girl mumble words

"Shhhhh. No more tears sweet pea" Natsu whispered, he wasn't sure why but as he felt the girls hand in his own, he felt some sort of connection with her

"So… this is what Igneel was talking about" Natsu spoke calmly as his face became devoid of emotion, the dragon slayer took his final breath as his eyes stared into the girl's eyes

"… Daddy" the girl spoke, speaking the word again however this time with more emotion in it, Natsu had protected her and even comforted her when she was scared and alone, she had made her choice that Natsu was her father

"Daddy please" the girl whispered as she moved her head towards him, shaking him slightly for him to wake up, the next thing she knew there was a loud thud making her head snap at attention recognising the sound

"I see you actually survived the forest Minerva" a gruff voice spoke as a towering man came out form the trees, his eyes lingered onto the motionless form of Natsu

"Hmmm, so you finally had to strength to take a life, you've finally proven yourself worthy of being my daughter. Come, we have training to do"

The man began to walk away giving the girl now named Minerva no choice but to comply however before she left Minerva slowly unwrapped the scarf that had been secured around Natsu's neck and soon wrapped it around her own, enjoying the scent of the man that she had named her father and making her feel comfortable, soon enough she kissed Natsu's forehead and closed his eyes before rushing off not wanting to make the giant of a man angry

Natsu's body actually laid there for a few minutes, upon closer inspection you would see his chest rising up and down drawing in minimum breaths of air

Soon enough two figures appeared out from the bushes, seeing the impaled form of Natsu they moved towards him, checking his pulse and seeing if he was alive

"Who is he?" One voice spoke, sounding like a young girl that was about Wendy's age or older

"It's the Salamander, the question is how this happened to him?" an older female voice, the familiar scent of the old man filled Natsu's nose as he took laboured breaths, his bloodied hand quickly grasping onto the first thing he could which turned out to be the wrist of the elder female.

"The...girl... is... she... alright" Natsu barely managed to speak out, having a pierced lung as well as blood filling his mouth

"We found no girl when we arrived here" the young girl answered

"Quiet Meldy, do not forgot that he is a part of Fairy Tail" the older female spoke in a commanding tone making the younger one cringe "Let's go Meldy"

"What? We can't just leave him, he might be a part of Fairy Tail but he can't do anything like this" The younger one that Natsu had to guess was called Meldy replied, the young girl showing that even though she was part of a dark guild she still had a good heart

"We have to help him" Meldy continued making the older female snort

"Why would we do that if we help him he can become a hindrance in our plans"

"Because look at him, I doubt he will be doing anything for at least a month, besides even if we do heal him the salamander will be to incapacitated to stop us"

*sigh* "Very well Meldy, heal him and let's get him to a hospital"
