He held it up over his head and watched it flash in the light of his bedside table. It twisted back a forth on the end of the chain. He brought it down to both hands and popped it open. The picture inside made him smile in memory.

"This is so teen love affair," Austin said.

"I never got to be in a teen love affair."

She kissed his cheek and stuck tokens into the machine. "Okay…" The camera flashed startling him into jumping nearly into her lap."

"Smile for the camera Spencer!"

He smiled and snapped the cover shut. It went with a snick that was quiet and loud at the same time. He rotated the chain again so that it spun in front of his eyes.

The phone rang next to his ear. He plucked it off the coffee table and smiled at the name on the caller id. "Hey… I didn't expect to hear from you so soon."

"I just got in. I missed you, so I thought …"

"I miss you too."

"We just said goodbye five hours ago."

"I know…"

"We're kind of pathetic."

"No… We're in love."

'Spencer Reid! Did you say you love me?"

"Yeah…."

"Are you blushing?"

"No!"

"I don't believe you."

"Okay, I'm blushing."

"Love you too."

"Thanks for the watch!"

There was a long silence on the line. "Well, I felt guilty…I was the one that snuck up on you and ruined your old one."

"I should have locked the bathroom door and left my watch in the room instead of on the edge of the tub."

"Still, it was a bath to remember. "

"Yeah…"

"I think you're blushing again."

"Where did you get the watch."

"A new magician friend gave it to me. I'm supposed to be practicing my hypnotism skills. I thought it would look better worn by you and I was right."

"Thanks!"

"You're blushing and squeaking now."

"Yeah…"

"For a genius, you're monosyllabic."

"Good one!"

"Thanks… Now go to bed. You have a big day tomorrow."

"Okay…"

"Sweet dreams Spencer."

"Sleep well Austin."
