Harry stared straight over the Great Hall. One special blond had captured his eyes and he couldn't do anything but stare. Hermione had a rant going on about Ron's eating and Harry had learned to block them out when they did this. He continued to stare, but Pansy soon caught his eye as she started whispering to Draco. Draco's eyes shot up and Harry quickly looked away, but not soon enough. Draco smirked and stood up. Some students had already left the Great Hall after the dinner so the teachers didn't mind. They just chatted happily, not having any idea what was about to happen. As Draco walked out of the hall Blaise quickly made his way through the students and to the Gryffindor table.

"Draco wants to see you, Potter," he said. "Alone," he continued, as Ron and Hermione started to gather their stuff. Ron's face turned a little redder than usual, but he slumped back down on the bench without a word. Hermione gave him a meaningful nod and sat down on the other side of Ron.

"Meet you in the common room in 30 minutes, okay?"

Harry nodded and he knew that they'd look after him and find him whatever Malfoy had planned.

Blaise moved graciously through the student-mass who had gathered by now. Their curious gaze followed Harry and he felt someone stare holes in his neck. As he turned around he met Ginny's furious eyes, and her red hair flowed around her making her look like a goddess.

A shame, Harry thought, to waste such beauty on him. She was head over heels in love with him he knew, but Harry had only eyes for a certain ice-prince. An ice-prince who probably waited in a deserted hall somewhere in the castle, just waiting to realise his guarding "dogs" on him. Harry always thought of Crabbe and Goyle as dogs, because they always did as Draco said, and never protested. But as Blaise halted to a stop, Harry realised that neither Crabbe, nor Goyle was anywhere to be seen. As he wondered about this Blaise disappeared, leaving Harry in a dark hallway, all by himself. He drew his wand and peered into the shadows. As he looked, one shadow separated itself from the others and Draco stepped forward.

"So," he said, with the usual smirk on his face.

Draco moved closer, so close that Harry felt the sweet scent coming from him.

"I heard that you were looking particularly thoughtful at dinner tonight. Anything special on your mind?"

Harry wondered over Draco's ability to leave him breathless.

"Or, should I say, anyone special?"

Harry's eyes widened as he realized the trap he had walked into.

"Ah, realisation. I can almost see it in your eyes, honey."

Harry gasped and Malfoy grinned and rolled his eyes.

"Seriously, did you think you hid it well? It has been obvious for weeks, I just waited for the right moment to drag you out of the closet. Does anyone else know?"

"Well, uhm, no. No-one else knows, actually." Harry met Draco's eyes and saw something there that he had never seen before. Care, and a tiny spark of fire, deep inside the smoky ice.

"Well, honey, isn't it time to tell" At least to the female Weasley who is so in love with you and just to be free around your friends? Oh stop that staring, I know how it feels. Why do you think Blaise left? Not to get the popcorn for the show, because this isn't something for his eyes." Draco had the evil grin on his face again, and he pulled Harry closer to him while he whispered.

"What do you think we can make in 30 minutes?"
