Chapter 1
Matthew James Thompson stood on the stand. He was charged with murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to murder. However Martin James Thompson was innocent he couldn't do anything. Everything that Martin James Thompson did was done by a slug. The grey slug opened his eyes moved his hands and in this case protested his innocence. The Yeerk was called Edriss 142. He had been stationed on Earth 4 months ago and had received this human controller. He was lucky he was good friends with Visser Three.
Matthew could sense the Yeerk was nervous. He could only last 3 days before dying and this court case would surely last more than three days but if you're friends with Visser Three then there's always hope and the Visser would be doing his utmost to help his Yeerk friend. The first thing that he was going to do to help the Yeerk was to get destroy the case against him and what better way to do that than by placing a Yeerk in the prosecution lawyer's head and then not doing anything.
The Yeerk knew the name of the prosecution lawyer. It was a woman and that women would soon be her controller. Her name was Naomi Berenson.

Rachel was in bird morph. A bald eagle swooped through the sky heading towards Cassie's house. She could have walked but she didn't want to and Rachel did what she wanted to. She landed in the barn and demorphed in front of the group. She caught Jake's disapproving stare but she didn't get told off and then she knew that something major was happening. Everyone was there even Ax.
Once she'd demorphed she sat down and looked at the hologram of Erek King. He looked perfectly human but Rachel knew he wasn't.
"What's happening? A new mission we ready to burn some slugs?" Rachel asked
"Trust Xena to be looking forwarding to a mission" Marco said sarcastically
"This might be one mission you don't like" Cassie said warningly
"What are you talking about?" Rachel asked and then realized everybody knew what was going apart from her and being kept in the dark was something she didn't like.
"Spit it out Erek what are the Yeerks planning" Rachel asked nastily
"A controller by the name of Matthew James Thompson has been charged with numerous crimes. The Yeerk is a good friend of Visser three and the Yeerk cannot be kept in the court room for three days so the plan is to infest the prosecution lawyer and then have her ruin the case and the Yeerk will be let go easily" Erek finished.
"Who's the lawyer they're planning to infest?" I asked and then I saw everyone looking at me.
"It's your mum Rachel" Cassie told me.
