Hi everyone! Since I just joined I felt the need to submit something...so here it is. :D

Toph and Zuko are my favorite characters from A:TLA, so I love to center my stories around them; I also love screwing with their love lives...XD

This is also my first fanfic, so it needs a lot of editing and stuff, so feel free to comment, edit, and flame if needed...enjoy!

"Are you sure about this?", Toph asked Zuko, whom was packing a few things in his bag.

Zuko looked at Toph and sighed.

"To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing anymore...But one things for sure. I'm going to help end this war. Along with Aang, that is. I'm not destined to kill Ozai, but Azula would sure be in for it", Zuko replied, grabbing some bandages in case he met Mai along the way.

"You don't have to go this early, you know. The second invasion isn't happening in another week", Toph reasoned.

Then, to her and Zuko's surprised, Toph reached foward to give him a good luck hug.

"...I guess I can't always be there to help out with Azula and stuff, but I am going to say good luck... And if you die, then I'm never going to forgive you."

Zuko grinned and hugged her back.

"If I die, then you'll have to avenge me..."

"I'll have to kick a few asses and bloody up a few faces."

Zuko laughed quietly, and finished his packing. Slinging his bag over his shoulders, he started to leave, but was interupted by Toph.

"Hold on. You're forgeting something.You've said good bye to Snoozles, Twinkle Toes, Teo, The Duke, and even Haru,...but you didn't say anything to Sugar Queen yet", Toph said quietly.

Zuko stopped in his tracks.

Toph smirked. "Come on! You obviously like Sugar Queen."

Zuko felt a blush creep up his cheeks.

"Do not."

"I can tell your lyyyyyyyyyyying..."

"..."

"Shut up, Toph!"

"Oooo, touch-y...Did you kiss her yet?"

"W-What?! I-I've barely known her for a week, and she's still pissed at me! What makes you think that I've got the privilege of sticking my tongue in her mouth yet?!"

Toph grinned. "Well...for one, you're blushing. I can feel it. Two, it sounds like you really want her... You know what you should do? Next time you see her, pin her to a wall and stick your tongue down her throat. That's always a nice way to say good bye..."

Zuko's cheeks redden even more, which did not go unnoticed by Toph. She cackled. Zuko's features formed a scowl. Then, he grinned.

"Oh really, now? What about you and Aang? Did he try to make a move on you yet?"

"..."

SMACK.

"Ow! Geez Toph, lighten up! I was only kidding..."

Toph glowered. "Y-yeah? Well...it ain't funny."

Zuko smiled one of his half smiles at her, before turning around in the direction of the western air temples.

Toph's expression changed to confusion before returning to her usual smirk.

"You're doing the right thing, Sparky. Trust me."
