Kyoko Mogami and Tsugara Ren DIVORCED!

For the past two days that headline has been on most newspapers and magazines. Not to mention all the press and interview requests that the former couple miraculously avoided.

"It's simple Mogami-san, just tell them what happened," The actor said over the phone .

"You expect me to say everything and answer all their questions with what really happened?" the raven-haired beauty asked in disbelief.

"That would be the smartest way, wouldn't it?"

"Not really. What's wrong with just saying it didn't workout between us and then letting the whole subject drop?" Kyoko asked getting frustrated.

"Because the subject obviously won't drop that easily at all and anyways most of the people who see the interview won't believe it thinking it was just a cover story." He sounded just like when he was discussing everyday work with Yashiro. She wanted to slap that gentlemanly face right off of him. She knew that wasn't really him. It was just a facade! Was she so much of a stranger now that he can't even act like his real self around her? She felt as though someone had stabbed her heart multiple times as she realized, yes she was.

Her grip tightened on the cell phone and the pain was evident in her eyes, but she kept her voice emotionless. He would not have satisfaction of knowing how much what he did have affected her, never!

"I see, thank you for your time." She hung up not giving him a chance to reply.

Kyoko looked up to see her two best friends eying her serenely. She had completely forgotten that they were there.

"The jackass expects you to say what really happened tomorrow." It wasn't a question. Kyoko nodded, not trusting her voice enough to answer verbally.

"What the hell does he…….." Shotaro started but kanae cut him off.

"I guess that's ok."

"What?"

"Would you rather have to meet up with him just to come up with a cover story?"

"Kanae has a point, Kyoko. Besides even if you say the truth the person who will be affected the most is him." Kanae and sho both saw pain flash across Kyoko's face and then disappear in a second. As good as she was at hiding it the pain was still there.

"Kyoko," Kanae said "we all know that you are strong enough not to let your self get too hurt because of this. I know the pain is inevitable but you're strong enough to get through it."

Kyoko let out a long sigh and looked her friend in the eyes "So tomorrow I am supposed to tell everyone that Tsugara Ren, the biggest gentleman in Japan, cheated on his wife even though they were married for only one year."
