Under the Moons Light.

Maria's POV

Maria couldn't sleep. She lay in bed gazing up at the star speckled ceiling of her tower room. Her thoughts lingered on a certain Bird Boy, with dark curly hair and feathers. She had spent the day with him, and she couldn't fathom why he haunted her mind. She sighed, and slid out of bed. Perhaps a walk would clear her mind….

Robin's POV

Robin lay in his bed in De Noir castle. He tossed and turned, but he couldn't get His Princess out of his mind. Her shining red hair, her sparkling Hazel eyes, her playful smile. She was perfection, and he loved her more then the Moon loved the Stars. He doubted she would return his affections. She seemed to only want to be friends. But still, he couldn't get her out of his mind. Maybe a walk through the Forest would help.

Maria's POV

Maria let her feet wander as thoughts of Robin filled her head. He was just her friend. There was no way she was in love with him. She couldn't be. They were just friends.

She stepped into the moonlight. Unknowingly, her feet had taken her to the Amphitheater, where only 3 weeks ago, she had jumped into the sea to save Moonacre. She was surprised to see a figure sitting towards the edge, and even more surprised when she recognized the distinct bowler hat.

Omniscient POV

Her heart sped up at the sight of him. Robin turned around and saw her, the moon bathing her features in a silver glow, only adding to her beauty. The two teens stared at eachother, frozen.

Robin was the first to speak. "Princess. What are you doing out so late?"

"I could ask the same of you Bird Boy." she replied.

He frowned slightly at the use of his nickname, and admitted "i couldn't sleep"

"Me neither" said Maria, slightly breathless. "I couldn't get you out of my mind." Now why did I say that? Thought Maria.

Robin looked momentarily stunned, but came forward and took her hand in his. She gasped slightly. "Robin-" he silenced her with a kiss. His lips were soft and caressing. They gently kissed eachother under the moon's silver glow until the sun began to rise.
