16 years in this same place, and I still can't leave. No matter what I try I still end up at st. gander adoption center with no memory of the outside world. People don't understand what life is like in here. All people ever say is that it's the best place for homeless kids like us. But they don't know what it's like having to sleep on a pile of dirty bags with nowhere to go. Everyone here knows there's no happy endings once you're here. We're all hopeless.
