Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars.

a/n: This is a collection of drabbles about the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan (non-slash!). They will be from both points of view, and perhaps even 3rd POV or from the POV of a person watching them. Mostly, though, I will focus on their internal feelings towards each other, their brotherly love and how it grows, and how differently both of them actually think. I won't tell you who's POV it's in because it should be obvious.

This is my first drabble ever, so bare with me.

I watch the fire of my dreams burn away. Qui-Gon had promised to train me, but now Qui-Gon is dead. I ponder my future, what would become of me?

Next me Obi-Wan speaks, "He is one with the Force, Anakin…you must let go."

Letting go of him of should be easy, I barely knew him, but it isn't. Letting go of him would mean letting go of my dream of becoming a Jedi Knight.

"I am your master now," he says, "You will be a Jedi. I promise."

With that my dream lives on, however mutated and scarred it is.
