Hi! I've had this idea on my mind lately, and finally started writing it. This is the first of what will be many chapters, hopefully... This one is short, though, just because it is the prologue. I'll try to update, since summer is coming up!
Pairings-Link/Zelda (Well obviously, if you're reading this I hope you're not here to hate on this pairing... I know that some people believe the theory that Link and Zelda are distantly related, or siblings, because yes, I did my research and it is possible, but this pairing is pretty much canon okay.)
Reminders-Link is mute, like in most of the games, all he can do is yell, ha ha, but people can read his thoughts, obviously. His thoughts are displayed in italics.
Chapter One-Prologue
"Link…." said Zelda. She was sitting on the floor, and although her face showed nervousness, she looked very graceful. Her mute husband turned towards her and displayed a face of worry. What's wrong?
"I…well…Come here." He walked over and kneeled next to her, putting his right arm around her and placing his left hand on her left shoulder.
"What would you do if… If there was another princess in this castle?" Their castle was not in Hyrule, where they were both born, but near Kokiri Forest, where Link grew up. The green of the forest relaxed them both, and Zelda felt better being in a castle, since she was raised in one.
Link gave her a reassuring look. I would never cheat on you.
"No, I mean…a little girl princess. A child." Link's face changed to realization. You…?
"Yes. Yes, Link!" Zelda was suddenly excited. Link's expression went from a small smile to a big smile, and hugged Zelda tightly. "We're going to be a family!" Link thought about that for a second. Family. He looked at her. Family. Zelda nodded, happy tears in her eyes.
"Family."
Yep. As I said, short prologue.
