Note: I don't know why I like this pairing so much. I think it has something to do with the idea of dignified Neji falling for someone completely unexpected...and of course, wrong. Also, the older man/younger man pairing. It's not a big kink of mine, but I like reading it in yaoi manga.

Every since Neji had talked to his uncle, Hiashi, at the Chuunin Exams, he hadn't been able to stop thinking about his words.
He'd always thought his uncle hated him, but that wasn't the case. As a matter of fact, Hiashi seemed to want to protect Neji from the pain of his father's death.
Neji accepted that, and forgave him.
Now, if only he could stop thinking of his uncle in ways that had nothing to do with their familial ties.
