Story in Maka's POV

Cheating Sky oneshot!
"Papa!" A red haired figure stood looming in the doorway.
"Where have you been?" My mother got up from her place on the couch crossing her arms defensivly.
He continued to stand there staring before breaking down in drunken tears. He made his way towards my mother stumbling over his feet over and over again.
"Where were you." Her firm command sounding nothing like a question. She knew as well as I did where he was. It was obvious he was out cheating once again.
"Kaaaaamiii~" He flung himself towards my mother rubbing her leg sprawling out on the ground in a drunken formation.
She kicked him in the face with a great force. "I. Said. WHERE Were. You." the emphasis enhanced the deadly words forming his fate at each hesitation.
"Kaamii~ Maaahh-hic-ka..... Papa lo-hic-ves you both the mostest!"
I could hear the grit of my Mother's teeth. She picked the man known as my father up by his collar. Eyes narrowing, "We're through." Her words were sharp but strong.
"Ka-aA-aaamMi-ii-ii-" The red haired man's eyes watered and tears streamed down his face.
My heart felt cold in contrast to the burning in my blood. I walked next to my mother but she turned and walked up the stairs. The man lay on the floor bubbling words through his tears and drunkness.
"Pa-Paaapa lo-hic-oves yo- you-uu to t-t-the most!" Snot dripped from his nose and he tryed to cling to my leg.
"Disgusting! GET AWAY FROM ME!" I jumped back putting space between us. "Why would I ever belive you?"
"I-It's true!"
"Then why would you do something like this?"

"I will not judge you.. But if you're doing this for attention I will NEVER forgive you."
My mother left right after the divorce. She went to travel the world she was going to find a sky not tainted by the impure even if it ment to search the world. She had custody over me but I stayed behind. Traveling would mean I'd have to homeschool and I wanted to attend Shibusen like my mother had. My mother was incredibly strong willed, smart, and beautiful. Now she even found a dream in heartbreak. I want to be like my mother. I will become strong aswell. Then when she finds the real sky I will be able to face her properly.
"What are you doing up here?" a deep shallow voice broke the silence of the rooftop.
"Ah.. Soul" The figure walked out from the doorframe taking a seat on the ledge he shifted his legs onto the ledge and leaned against the building. A smile escaped my lips as I continued to stare out to the vast sky. He put his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. I stood there beside him in silence for a long time leaning against the ledge.
"The sky is perfect.."
He was looking at me through one eye he gave me one of his signature smirks. "I have no idea what your talking about."

"Silly Mama..." A smile clung to my face.
I've found my own sky and it's right where yours broke
I wish you could have seen it
but this is our sky and where I can fly.
Not you.

Soul: Un-cool.
