Well, I realized I haven't written a TMM story with this old account, so I decided I would. I also decided a nice short song-fic would be a good substitute until Q & D and any other stories on the obsession account are done. This isn't to be lazy, I actually think it's a moderately original idea, not a song fic, the story-line, please correct me if I'm wrong. I do believe Shinotaro is Ichigo's father's name, so again, please correct me if I'm wrong. I own neither Tokyo Mew Mew or "I Danced With Cinderella"

She spins and she sways to whatever song plays,
Without a care in the world.
And I'm sittin' here wearin' the weight of the world on my shoulders.
It's been a long day and there's still work to do,
She's pulling at me saying "Dad I need you!
There's a ball at the castle and I've been invited and I need to practice my dancin'"
"Oh please, daddy, please!"

Shinotaro Momomiya sighed as he looked at his daughter. She had her ear to the phone and started spinning around giddily. He had just gotten home from work, he remembered back when she was little and just worried about how she would dance at Moe or Miwa's sleepovers.


So I will dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms

I don't wanna miss even one song,
Cuz all too soon the clock will strike midnight
And she'll be gone

He knew Ichigo wouldn't be a little girl forever, and that bothered Shinotaro. He knew things about Ichigo that that Aoyama character never would. Shinotaro didn't want to miss anything, he wanted to be there for Ichigo as long as he could, soon Aoyama Masaya would take her away from him.


She says he's a nice guy and I'd be impressed
She wants to know if I approve of the dress
She says "Dad, the prom is just one week away,
And I need to practice my dancin'"
"Oh please, daddy, please!"

Ichigo had always loved Aoyama, and she thought the world of him. Shinotaro had to admit that if the kid wasn't stealing his daughter from him he'd probably like him.

"Dad, Aoyama-kun asked me to go to a dance with him! I gotta practice! Please, daddy, please!"


So I will dance with Cinderella

And she'll be gone
She will be gone.

"Sure, Ichigo-chan, I'll be out in a minute." He would do anything for his Ichigo, and he wouldn't miss out on this chance to spend time with her. Not if Aoyama already had his little girl's heart,


Well, she came home today
With a ring on her hand
Just glowin' and tellin' us all they had planned
She says "Dad, the wedding's still six months away
but I need to practice my dancin'"
"Oh please, daddy please!"

Shinotaro thought ahead, to when Aoyama would come in to ask him if they had his blessing, and if he could marry Ichigo, and Ichigo would come in, and tell him, and ask him to practice dancing for the wedding.


So I will dance with Cinderella

And he would dance, he would dance with his princess, one of his last before Ichigo was no longer his, and was Mrs. Aoyama Masaya.

Another thing, anyone that's read Questions & Dares knows I hate Masaya, but this was the intended pairing of the anime, and somehow I couldn't see Ichigo's dad coping with Ichigo being with Kisshu, and I'd never pair Ichigo and Ryou together. And out of laziness, I didn't want to create an OC, besides, Shinotaro already approved of Masaya.
