She sat on her bed, staring at the blank, white ceiling. She hadn't eaten in days, her eyes are hollow, and her sisters were starting to get worried. Blossom Untonium, the leader of the Powerpuff Girls, felt broken.

She didn't feel pure any longer. She didn't feel anything really. He had taken what was most precious to her and she had let him.

They had been dating for almost two years, everyone knew it was bound to happen eventually. He promised her a nice house, a pleasent job and a small family of 5. Thing is, Brick Jojo intended to give her all of these things. He had been planning to propose to her for 2 months now and it seemed like the perfect time too. Then this happened and Blossom started to ignore him. better yet, she started to ignore everyone.

Blossom looked out of her window to see a little red figure leaning against a red car hood, looking up at her window. She could feel the tears building up in her eyes and turned away before they could fall. It was his fault that she was like this. It was his fault that she didn't feel pure any longer. It was his fault that for once, she did something for herself that made her happy and with that, she felt disgusting inside.

She was so used to putting herself third. it was always her family, Townsville and then herself.

Blossom believed that now Brick had gotten what he wanted, all of that would change quickly. that Brick would start ignoring her, hurting her, using her as a sex toy, knowing that because of her love for him, Blossom would agree to it. she was like a moth drawn to a flame, the flame that always treated her properly. Yet doubt and fear clouded her mind of his sweet gestures, it made her unable to see how everyone truly cares about her.

The red headed boy knocks on the door of the apartment swiftly, startling the girl in the living room. The blue eyed, blonde girl opened the door for the red head and let him walk in. He looked at her and she nodded, looking at the stairway. The boy took 2 stairs at a time, trying to reach his girlfriend quicker. He reached the red head's door and opened it quietly. Blossom was standing in her bathroom, the door wide open. She was standing over the sink, a small object in her hands and something running down the sink.

Brick took 3 strides into the bathroom and grabbed the love of his life's wrists. The blade clattered onto the floor, Blossom was shaking and her blood was still running down her arm. She struggles a bit, trying to escape the grip that is like steel. Tears are streaming down her face as he asks one little word: why?

Her tears turned into sobs and those sobs turned into whimpers, wanting Brick to hold her in his arms. He patched up the cuts silently, unable to look her in the eyes. He was hurt, betrayed by the one he believed to be perfect in every way, but for once, Brick Jojo was proven wrong.

He held her, afraid to let go again. She held onto him tightly, whispering sorry over and over again to him. He kissed the top of her head, scared that Blossom would break under the slightest bit of pressure. But it was too late for that. the leader was broken. And there was no way to fix it.

Her tears eventually stopped. She pulled away from Brick, unable to look him in the eyes. She knew that he would be disgusted with her, call her a monster. She was supposed to be the leader, she was supposed to be untouchable, undestroyable. Yet that had changed. She wasn't the little girl they once all knew. This was the real world now, not some imaginitive one from when they were younger.
