A/N: Very short one shot, B&B as always. I know this song has been used so many times before but I listened to this song and I just had to write something. Just a little warning it's as fluffy as it is short (so very lol!)

"Dr Brennan, this is Special Agent Seeley Booth, he needs your assistance in his murder investigation." We shook hands.

"Hello." he said, smiling at her.

"Uh Hello." I said a little startled and I felt something I'd never experienced before. It seemed like he immediately made a connection to my heart, which is illogical, impossible and something I don't believe in but it happened.

The rest of the investigation went down hill from that. Of course I'd come across many people, especially agents, who'd found my work odd and found my findings difficult to believe. But something about him thinking the same as so many other people before him had thought, seemed to strike me harder than it ever had before.

Inside, I built a wall

After he had weaseled his way back into my life, things changed. He broke right through my defenses and brought my walls down. I started to trust him as much as he trusted me.

After a while I permitted myself to really see him. His eyes always full of determination, sincerity and kindness. Except for when he was haunted by his past. I got lost in those eyes and they speak volumes.

And that's why I'm here, looking at him. I open my mouth and answer his question.

"From hello, the very first time I met you. I never even had a chance. You stole my heart and you just didn't let go. I've loved you from hello". I said, and I know it sounds cheesy, song-like and completely out of my character but that's what he does to me. He changed me and I think I like it.

He smiles at me and his eyes lit up. He pulls me into a tight embrace.

"I love you Bones" he says. I hear the sincerity in his voice and I know that I'm home.
