TehSun's note: TehMoon is at a sleep over right now, so I'll be the one uploading the chapters. Even though I'll be the one uploading anyways... ... (...)
Authors' Warnings: Yes. There are self-inserted characters in here. In Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, some of the characters were already going out. Well, I'm inserting my friends in here. You know Rick and Porpori, and how Rick got really ticked at Kai? Yeah…
"You're such a git! Gosh!" Jessica yelled from her seat in front of the computer. Her brother, Matthew, didn't reply, already absorbed in Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland. She shook her head and looked back at the computer. 'It's really sad how he can find such interest in that one game…' she thought. Her friend, Trevor had just signed on, and she began talking to him, and her friend's Peter, Kayla and Shorro.
Matthew didn't reply to his idiotic sister's insult because he really didn't want to get a smack on the head. Nor did he want to spend an hour seething and cursing his sister. It really did not help him concentrate. But still, why did his sister make such a big deal out of everything?
Five hours later, and they were still in the same position they were before. It was really sad how lazy these two children were. Honestly. Eventually, though, Jessica and Matthew had gotten up and went to bed. Jessica fell asleep in her clothes, too lazy to get out of them (honestly), and Matthew had changed into his pajamas. They both dreamed that night, and coincidently, they both dreamed off beating each other with the hoe from Harvest Moon.
Matthew had as usual woken up first, and was out of bed when he felt the wooden floor. His room did not have a wooden floor. His eyes widened as he looked around. A large television was by his bed, but the screen was facing the door. A bed-side table was next to him, and a book that said "Diary" in silver letters was on it. This room was strangely familiar, but surely Matthew would've remembered if he had been in a place like this. He, unlike his sister, actually had a long-term memory. Speaking of his sister…
Jessica sleeping on a bed across the room from Matthew. Her arms were stretched out, a leg was above the blanket, and her mouth was opened. Her short brown hair was all over, and every couple of minutes she would open her eyes, then close them again, falling asleep. Jessica did not want to wake up and get up. She was by far too lazy. It was a miracle that she could get up for school. Eventually, though, waking up was inevitable, and she opened her eyes. A wooden ceiling greeted her.
Matthew, noticing his older sister was awake, ran over to her. "Jessie! Where are we? Did Mom and Dad bring us here?"
Jessica blinked and rubbed her eyes. "No, idiot. It's obvious where we are. We're at that house thingy in Harvest Moon." Matthew eyes widened. Sure, his sister was stupid, but still, saying they were in a 2 dimensional game? Where did that come from? But…this room did look like that in Harvest Moon. He grabbed his sister's arm and pulled her outside. He opened the door, and stood petrified as he took in what was around him.
A small pond was about 6 meters from the door, and on the right side of that was a large field filled with weeds, logs, tree trunks, rocks and small boulders.
"I told you we were in Harvest Moon." Jessica smirked, obviously pleased she guessed something right.
