Disclaimer: I don't' own Percy Jackson.

Just a little one-shot I wrote about Poseidon and Athena's view on Percy and Annabeth. Please read and review.

A few hours after Percy Jackson declined being a god, Athena was on a rampage. Aphrodite had just told her how Percy and her daughter Annabeth were finally a couple and that "Percabeth" would be the greatest love story since the Trojan War. Leaving the squealing love goddess, she stormed through Olympus.

"Poseidon! I know you're here." she yelled as she entered the newly repaired throne room. She knew them dating was coming, but that didn't mean she approved.

Wincing, Poseidon emerged and asked "What do you want, Athena?"

"Did you know that your sea spawn is dating my daughter? My Annabeth, the Architect of Olympus!" she demanded.

"First, he is not spawn, he is the Hero of Olympus for Zeus's sake. Second, what? My son is dating that girl?" Poseidon said.

"Yes, and I don't want them together. Do something."

"I don't like it either, but isn't breaking them up a bit drastic?"

"No,"

"You're being unreasonable!"

"I am not-,"

Suddenly, the doors to the throne room burst open and some irritated gods burst in, asking what they were fighting about this time.

"My daughter is dating his son! I won't allow it!" said Athena.

"That doesn't mean you can zap down there and blast him!" argued Poseidon.

After minutes of pointless bickering, Aphrodite yelled, "Shut up, they're so cute, look!" and waved her hand, making an Iris Message of camp appear.

The screen showed Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase sitting by the ocean, laughing and holding hands, while Percy manipulated the water into shapes for their amusement. When Percy made stream of water splash Annabeth, she shrieked and slapped him playfully, then pushed him off the dock. He pulled her down with him and they surfaced laughing. He pulled her out, drying off both of them and kissed her on the cheek.

"Well, that was sort of sweet," Athena admitted.

"It's not so bad, you know." Poseidon said, smiling.

"See, I told you so. You can't break them up. He gave up godhood for her and they're going to be the best couple ever…" prattled Aphrodite until Poseidon cut her off.

"I approve." he said.

"Fine, they can date, but if he breaks her heart, I will send him to Tartarus." said Athena, but she wasn't mad anymore.

Sea spawn or not, he's actually okay with her. For now….
