The whole time I'm writing this, I'm like, I can't do it! Too embarrassing! And, yeah-it's kinda stolen from an episode and kinda depressing. But whatev's.
Misaki stood with his knees trembling, his eyes fixated on the door that had just closed. Usagi didn't slam it, but even still a wave of gloom washed over Misaki.
Usagi-san had just confronted Misaki about Misaki holding back on his feelings towards him. He thought back to a minute ago. Usagi had casually ran his fingers through Misaki's hair, making his way down to his . . . chin (you perverted reader!) He handled it gently, this time with innocent intentions. He looked into Misaki's nervous eyes and whispered,
"I love you."
He kissed him slowly on the lips. When he let go he seemed to be waiting for something.
"When will you finally tell me?" He asked patiently.
"Tell you what?" Misaki looked away nervously.
"You know what I'm talking about."
"Shut up, idiot!"
Usagi went around to his back and hung on to his shoulder.
"C'mon."
"No Usagi-I" He paused, his eyes squinted in remembrance of all he times Usagi tried to get him to say those words. He frowned and his fists clenched.
"Usagi-san! You have bothered me enough! I can never come home and relax out you shooting me down with these questions you know make me uncomfortable!"
"It's just one simple question."
Misaki pulled away from him.
I don't care! What if I said I didn't love you? Would you leave me at peace?"
Usagi's eyes widened a little, then look down to the floor. He passed shaking and choking Misaki without a word or touch (as Misaki might expect). He turned the doorknob.
"If that was easier to say, than good for you."
He counted Usagi's footsteps until he couldn't hear anymore. 22.
Now after playing it back in his head for the third time, he still stood in the same place it happened. He dropped to his knees, because they were too weak to hold him any longer. What could he have said? And why couldn't he tell Usagi he love him?
And why was he even thinking about another man this way?
"Aaah!" He grabbed his head.
I know! He thought. I'll work around the house to get my head out of this ridiculous funk! Before Usagi got home the apartment was spotless. Misaki smiled with pride- and then the doorknob jiggled. Usagi opened the door without a word to Misaki or about the clean house. Misaki looked up at Usagi like a guilty puppy. Their eyes met for a second.
Th- th- th- th- that's all I got for now, folks!
