Maybe, it's Karma
I'm not a big Annette fan. Actually I sort of hate her but I doubt even she is this self righteous. However, there are people more self righteous than this in the real world. This is my first CI fanfic, be merciful and review.
I do not own Cruel Intentions, if I did Annette would have gotten run over by the cab, Sebastian and Kathryn would have gotten back together and I wouldn't have to write this.

They deserved what happened to them thought Annette as she drove down the road in Sebastian's 1956 Jaguar Roadster. Surely, God must have seen it fit to take Sebastian's life when he was about to experience true love seeing he didn't deserve it, having broken the hearts and destroyed the lives of innocent girls. In destroying Kathryn, she was doing the whole of New York a good deed. That evil bitch definitely deserved the worst, pretending to be a saint when she was not. She deserved to be exposed for the worthless bitch she was. Kathryn was definitely going to hell for all the horrible things she had done except of course she changed and did penance for all her past crimes. Sebastian on the other hand was probably in heaven right now after all he did die saving her life. He had a good soul. All he had needed was someone like her to bring it out not someone with an evil soul like Kathryn. She had loved him and thanks to Kathryn, he was dead. If Kathryn hadn't sent Ronald after Sebastian, she wouldn't have had to separate two grown men fighting at the side of a busy road thereby getting herself thrown in the middle of the road where she would probably have died if Sebastian hadn't saved her. She smiled as she thought of the good times she had together and the fact that everything Kathryn and Sebastian held most dear were now hers. She took Sebastian's shades and put them on. After all, it was justice that the most treasured possessions of the wicked should go to the righteous.
Deep contemplation should never be done while driving. If Annette had been focusing on her driving or maybe if she hadn't worn those shades, she might have seen in time to avert the danger. A huge truck coming from the other side of the road crashed into the jaguar, crushing her and the car.
So maybe it wasn't justice depending on your view of justice that she should be run over by a truck when she just received these gifts. However, the law of karma, similar to the Christian 'whatever a man sows that shall he reap' states that what goes around comes around. This law that seems to have applied itself to Kathryn and Sebastian might very well apply itself to Annette. After all, she destroyed the reputation Kathryn had probably almost sold her soul to build, which also probably all she had left with the death of Sebastian and was inherently part of the factors which led to Sebastian's death so maybe it's karma.
