Figurines

Disclaimer: I don't own RWBY.

As Yang entered team RWBY's room, she noticed that both Ruby and Blake were missing. Only Weiss was there, sitting on her bed with her back to the door. She turned her head at hearing the door creak open.

"Hey, babe," Yang greeted her girlfriend with a wave as she closed the door behind her.

"Hey. Yang?"

"Yeah?"

"Listen," Weiss started as she got up and faced her girlfriend. After a few moments, she cleared her throat. "As your girlfriend, I feel it is my solemn duty to..."

"Oh, just cut the chase, honey! I don't wanna hear some boring speech."

"Excuse me, but when someone is talking it is rude to interrupt them."

"Sorry, ma'am. Please, proceed."

Weiss shook her head. "Listen, it just...Ergh, I got you something."

Hearing that brought a smile to Yang's face brighter than the sun. "You got me a present? What is it? What is it?"

Weiss turned to a cupboard and pulled something out of it. She walked over to Yang, holding what appeared to be a music box in her hand. "Here."

"Uh, thanks," Yang replied, taking the box. Clearly, she was expecting something else. "It's pretty."

"Turn it on."

Yang fumbled around a bit with it, trying to figure out how it worked. Then she found a small key in the side and wound it. The box started playing music and the lid opened up. Yang's eyes widened and she gasped as two figurines emerged from it. Two women, dancing together. One was made of gold, the other was made of ice.

"How...?"

"Teal dust," Weiss answered. "The scientists that work for the company came up with it. Everlasting ice. That's what they call it anyway. Truth is, it can only withstand temperatures up to 40°C."

Yang barely listened as she just watched the figurines dance in circles. Mesmerized, she gently ran her fingers across the ice figurine. "She's beautiful."

Weiss scratched the back of her head as a blush crept on her face. "The gold one's prettier."

"Agreed," Yang replied, grinning at Weiss. The heiress stomped on the ground with a huff and walked off to her bed. "Maybe you would've been happier with two golden figurines then."

"Are you kidding me?" Yang asked as she put the music box down on a table. She then walked up to Weiss and hugged her from behind. "I don't think I'd be able to live without the ice figurine.

Weiss' face was now a deep crimson. "Shut up."

Yang spun Weiss around to face her. "As you wish, my princess," she said as she pressed her lips against Weiss'.
