"I'm stuck with you." He mutters late one night. Hermione knows he's trying to start an argument, but she's tired to fight with him anymore.
She didn't want to be with Theo anymore than he wanted to be here, but the Ministry hadn't given them any choice.
They were stuck together until one of them died, she hoped it was him first. She felt bad for wanting that, but after fours of marriage that was more like fighting a war she'd had enough.
She thought after the birth of Mia that maybe they could work together as parents. Yet her birth had made things worse.
She didn't blame Mia, she loved her daughter more than anything in the world. It wasn't her fault that her father was a complete git who would never comprise.
Hermione had tried and tried again to make things tolerable between them, but Theo was determined that she fail.
Now she had given up trying and was just counting down the days, weeks and years until the day one of them died.
The only thing that made her life bearable was Mia. She was the only thing in the world that got her through the days.
