Ok, so I really like Kingdom Hearts and since I haven't played with this pair yet, I felt I should give it a go!

Aeris knew she was in town.
She knew before Cid had mentioned seeing a girl in black shopping for materia in the market while he was gathering parts for his computer.
She knew before Leon stormed into Merlin's House ranting about how that girl was going to tear apart all their hard work trying to find a certain spiky haired brooder.
She knew before Yuffie had burst in through the old oak door excitedly chattering away about how she had seen the girl fighting heartless and nobodies and defeating them before the ninja girl could help.
She knew before Cloud had up and disappeared in mid-conversation, moments after the girl had set foot in town, trying to escape his responsibilities…again.
She knew that Tifa Lockheart had come to Hollow Bastion before even Tifa had decided to check their old world on her quest.
So, when the black-clad fighter woman had stepped into the bailey to look out over the remains of the Heartless Castle; to rest for a moment and take in the changes that had taken over her world while she had been gone, it came as no surprise that a flower girl dressed in pink would be there before her.
"Did you find what you were looking for?"
The gentle question broke the still air between the two and the fighter wearily approached the cut stone window that her friend was leaning up against. Tifa stopped just short of Aeris, letting her red-wine colored eyes run themselves over her slender form, stopping when emerald green eyes turned from the vast land framed by the gray stone window to lock with her wandering gaze.
A playful wind curled itself around long, braided auburn hair, lifting and caressing the bound tresses of the soft-spoken woman waiting for an answer to her question, before it let her hair sway back into place and then move onto mid-back length black earth brown hair.
"For the most part."
Confusion entered the flower girl's eyes, causing a smile to turn up the fighter's lips. Tifa stepped closer to Aeris and took the older woman in her arms, hugging her tightly and burying her face in the milky white neck that smelled so much like a flower garden.
"You're safe aren't you? That was the part I was worried about the most."
Slender arms wrapped around the black clad fighter and returned the strength of the hug in equal measure while pressing many lingering kisses along the exposed cheek, temple, and neck of her younger love.
"Now that you're here, I know I'm safe."
Tifa's voice was muffled a bit but Aeris caught the gist between feather-light kisses along her neck and jawline.
"I missed you so much Aeris."
The auburn haired girl chuckled, tickled by her partner's administrations via her mouth and by the stealthy fingers that were now trailing down her spine in patterns of ancient forgotten runes.
"I missed you as well Tifa. Will you be staying for a while?"
Coming up out of the embrace, Tifa nodded and brought her lips to their most desired destination.
"I will."
Aeris smiled into the kiss and enjoyed the warmth that only her fighter girl could bring forth in her body.
"Welcome home."

Not quite what I was going for, but some stories just refuse to be directed! Still, I like it. It's simple and sweet which is always a good combo especially on days like Valentine's Day!
