Sol Lyrica dashed towards Snow Lia, Mako knew in his heart that if he screwed up even a bit, it would mean problems. She was more experienced then he was, and definitely stronger. The difference in strength was quite apparent and Snow Lia even though it was a defense type could send Lyrica flying. He had to think of a new strategy. Trying to out last her in stamina wouldn't work because she would eventually see through him and just chase him down.
"One good smash and that's the end of this match. We have to play smart." Mako thought
As Lyrica was about to smash into Snow, it suddenly changed direction smashing into the side instead.
"I see your coming for a different approach, but I wont work I promise you that." Ice Shouted
"What! She already sees my plan." Mako exclaimed.
Snow then immediately smashing into Lyrica, sending it crashing into the side of the stadium.
"Oh no, Lyrica! This... is it. " Mako cried.
"Don't Look away little Mako!" Ice commanded. "Your Lyrica is still fighting for you, don't you see!"
Mako looked back to see his bey, just barely spinning. Its bright red color masked with dusk.
"Lyrica is..." Mako muttered
"A good Beyblader will always continue to fight even if their backs against the wall." She shouted.
"A good blader never gives, you say." Mako repeated.
"Thats right, in these sort of matches strength is defined by heart and spirit rather than brute strength. Icedra exclaimed.
Mako's eyes shined with a light that he hadn't had before. With this knowledge he knew that he couldn't just give up on Lyrica just because this were looking bad.
"Your right, what was I even thinking. This Sol Lyrica that my father gave me is special!" Mako shouted.
"Thats the spirit little Mako." She responded.
As Snow charged at Lyrica, the bright red bey stood its ground at the edge of the stadium.
"Bring it on!" he challenged.
"Snow, our opponent has fought valiantly. Make this swift! SNOW BLIZZARD!. She shouted.
And just like before, a snow storm erupted from the light blue beyblade as it crashed into Lyrica.
"Good one little Mako! Icedra said.
"Aw, well. Mako sighed. "You did your best Lyrica"
He reached down and picked up the bey, and brushed the snow off it. Icedra ran over towards him. Reaching out her hand, Mako accepted the kind gesture. Suddenly the door burst open
