Mirrors
I face my opponent
A battle so fierce
A flight with a reflection
I just want to pierce
We never see ourselves
When we stare at a mirror
We may see a pile of courage
Though our lives become queerer
We touch and see
All the while we learn
Thoughts and feelings have
Many obstacles and turns
Fighting other's spirits
To win the strength of will
Their dueling deck is part
Of the mirror of their hearts
A/N: *wipes brow* That's the last poem I'll be posting anytime soon. Once again... (join in everyone!) from my English project! The idea came to me when I was reading the Afterword in Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium World. (if any of you have Vol. 7 in the Millennium World series, take a look... the picture may become clearer) Yay! I hope you had fun-if reading poems is fun for you peeps who are reading this note :D Ja na! Until next time I get my lazy butt away from the fanfics I'm reading to actually trying to finish my stories. (I'm ashamed to say I have been neglecting both The Eighth Item and Double-M and KID vs. Conan, but I assure you... I will finish the fourth chapter of Double-M and KID (etc.) and soon-I hope :)
