WARNING: This is set after the Ceremonial duel but Atem didn't leave and he still goes by Yami and has a body of his own now. I think that's all...
The Little Light
"Grandpa." Yami blinked, watching the old man trying to decorate their living room. "Can I help you?"
"Oh Yami!" the other smiled at his new grandson and chuckled. "No, no... these old bones can manage this. Do you have a gift prepared?"
"Don't tell me..." the once spirit gasped, turning to look at the calender. Indeed it was. June 4th. Yuugi's birthday. "I have to go grandpa! I will be back for dinner!" with that, the Pharoah ran out, causing Sugoruku to chuckle as he went back to his order of business.

"Gift ... gift..." he was too busy running around to notice that he was about to bump in into somebody but the person stopped him.
"Yami! Calm down!" the Pharoah looked up to see the honey-coloured hair of their best friend, Jou. "What's the matter?"
"Yuugi's bir-birthday and I..." he had barely noticed that he had been running through some pouring rain but Jou did and sighed.
"I know... well, this is the mall, I'm sure we can find something. Besides, Seto doesn't expect me to appear for another hour, so we should have enough time." with that, the blonde gripped Yami's hand and led him towards the nearest shop.
After several hours, the older tri-coloured teen had decided on a pendant. It was a sky blue colour with silver linings around it and he knew that Yuugi would love it.
"Thank you, Jou." Yami smiled at his friend.
"You are welcome! Now, I need to be off..." he ran off and the former spirit smirked when he saw Seto possesively hold his small puppy.
Well he didn't want to interfere with their date, so it was time to go back home and show his aibou the present he had picked out.

"There you are!" Yuugi looked at him, a small pout on his lips as he walked up to his mou hitori no boku. "Did you need something at the mall? You could have told me, I was there yesterday."
"No, no..." Yami hastily took out a small box, causing Yuugi's eyes to pop-out. "It's not that aibou... at least not yet." the elder smirked, causing the younger to flush and pout harder.
"Than what is it?"
Instead of answering, he took the pendant out and slowly put it around the other's puzzleless neck, smiling as his aibou's eyes widened.
"Happy birthday, Yuugi."
