Author's Note: I have not wrote anything in over a year due to personal reasons. Between school, my job, and my kids I have not had the chance to write or update anything. It is my hope by doing some oneshot stories that I will be able to get back into the groove of writing so that I can update my stories like I want to.
I have recently joined a Harry Potter forum and that brings me to this story. This story is a challenge from the Harry Potter Fanfiction Challenges Forum. The challenge that I am doing is Popular Pairings vs Rare Pairings. This story will be of a rare pairing.
Challenge: Blaise/Luna Rare Pairing
T.V. Episode Prompt: Consequences - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Song Title Prompt: Superstition - Stevie Wonder
Blaise hid a smile as he watched his girlfriend, and boy wasn't that a kicker, skirt around someone who was on a ladder fixing something at the mall that they were currently in. He never would have thought that Luna would be superstitious but then again up until six months ago he had never thought that he would be with the blonde beauty. He still couldn't believe even after six months of being together that he still had her or that he was as happy as he was. Of course there had been some consequences for being with Luna but he really didn't care about them. He had lost some of his friends when he first started dating the blonde but to him that did not matter. What mattered was that he finally had the one person who understood him and that didn't judge him.
After all just not anybody could get him to come into muggle London to shop. He finally let the smile he had been hiding appear on his face as he took two large steps and caught up with his girlfriend. He wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her next to him instead of walking in front of him. His smile grew when she looked at him with a big smile on her face. He couldn't resist kissing her so he did just that. When he broke the kiss so that they could both breathe he smiled tenderly down into her face. He knew that he would never get tired of looking at her.
He laughed and shook his head as Luna grabbed one of his hands and started pulling him forward. He allowed her to do so just because he knew that it would make her laugh and it did. He knew that she still missed her father who had died a couple of months ago so he made sure to make her laugh whenever he could be it killed him to see the sadness in her eyes. Besides he loved her laughter and would be the first to admit that it was infectious.
Secondary Author's Note: When I first thought of doing this pairing I already knew that I would write it like I did my Harry/Luna story because it felt like that was the perfect way to write it. Now when I see how this story played out I have to say that I was right in my thoughts. There is just something about Luna that I love. It is like everything about her can either draw people in or make people hate her because she doesn't follow the norm. I believe that this along with my Harry/Luna story is one of my most favorite stories that I have written to date.
