History of the TSAB
-‡-
After the collapse of the Belkan Empire and the loss of the Saints Cradle, a group of former Military and civilian units commandeered abandoned Dimensional Ships and began to patrol the former territory of the Empire, providing support to civilians broken off from their supply lines after the collapse.
Continuous support of the stranded worlds prompted the formation of offices by the group, who were jokingly referred to as the "Space Administration Police" by some worlds. The Administration attempted to spread out through the dimensions to assist the worlds around Mid-Childa, but many worlds on the outreaches of many dimensions we're lost due to the collapse of the interplanetary teleport gates.
Without any form of FTL or the Belkan authorities with the correct coordinates, these planets we're abandoned completely in favor of helping the reachable planets.
Around the Earth year 1941, under massive encouragement by the hundred-odd worlds the Administration "founded" itself, and renamed itself to the "Time-Space Administration Bureau", if want for nothing but a better acronym.
Even though the TSAB managed to save billions of lives, many Belkan worlds are still lost, even though these "lost" worlds occupy the same system as many TSAB administrated worlds. Even though the TSAB points every magical sensor they have at this space, no attempts to open communications has every been heard, and by this point, all survivors are assumed to be long dead.

TSAB Space Travel
The TSAB may administrate many inhabited words that do not orbit the same sun, but they are a "space-fairing civilization" in the loosest sense of the word. A "dimension" in the Dimensional Sea is a star system, Earth is one of a fairly rare form of dimension, with the vague at best parameter of "a star system with at least one planet in the habitable zone with life." Despite all of the Bureau's use of Dimensional Space, they know very little about what it is and even less about exactly how it works.
It is unknown whether dimensions exist in the same universe, and if dimensional transfers just change the location of a caster in space, or if dimensions are actually separate universes and crossing the dimensional sea actually takes you to another universe.
TSAB spacecraft, while they have hyper condensed battery's that can provide enough power for a ship for years, artificial gravity, and magical weaponry, they do not break the laws of physics as often as the aerial mages they deploy. Very rarely will the TSAB launch a probe that even comes close to a speed with noticeable time dilation. The TSAB has never put significant research into colonizing other planets, even if they had a reason to, they have many, many worlds to administrate already.
TSAB ships are, however, fast. Compared to Earth-level spacecraft. While a TSAB scout could probably reach Mars from Earth in the space of a few weeks, the amount of power and effort that has to be put into it would have to have a major situation for it to happen.
The engines of TSAB spacecraft are not reaction-mass powered like on Earth, they use a unique spell modified off of the Mid-Childian flying spell, allowing for reactionless thrust, the major problem being that these "drag" against space-time, decelerating the craft unless the engine is constantly turned on. And even then, only a small fraction of c can be reached.
