The Argo II slowly decended into the scared terrain from the previous battle. But Annabeth didn't notice. She was to preoccupied scanning the crowd of people below her for a mop of messy black hair. "Please be ok, please be ok." she mentaly chanted to herself, unknowingly digging marks into the railing with her nails. She suddenly felt another preasence beside her. She turned her head to see Piper looking at her, giving a faint smile. "Hey," I said.

"Hey, how you doing?" She asked, trying to relieve the tension.

"Really nervous," I answered. "You?"

"I'm ok, it's Jason I'm worried about. He's been a little jumpy this morning."

"I don't blame him." I said looking back at the now much closer crowd. "Come on. We have to go greet our potential killers." We had rehursed this over a million times. Jason and I would aproach the romans as the greek representatives and havePiper fallow close behind so as to charm speak any one who might cause a problem. We decended the ladder slowly and slowly aproached the crowd. Suddenly the crowd split in two as two figures, both clad in purple togas, aproached us. My heart skipped a beat as I realized that one of those figures was Percy. He had grown a bit taller since last I saw him. His eyes still a sea green that I could drown in, but his face held no expresion what so ever. He leaned over and whispered into the other figures ear, who I now realized was a woman. She gave him a questioning look before nodding and returning to the crowd. Percy aproached us, having his eyes rest on me and me alone. I looked at Jason and Piper, mentaly telling them to let me go first. They gave me a faint smile and nodded, leaving me to proceede.

We met in the middle, standing only a foot away from eachother. So much I wished he'd hold me, hold me, kiss me, and never let go. I looked him in the eye and tentatively mumbled his name. "Percy?"

He looked at me, a bit confused, but focused. I steeled my nerves and asked the question that had caused me so much heart ache for these past few months. "Percy, do...do you remember me?"

I couldn't take it, I faced the ground and let a few tears leak through. Suddenly I saw Percy stand over me and tilt my head up to face him. I looked into his beautiful sea green eyes one last time before closing mine and braced myself for the rejection.

"I don't know Wisegirl, care to refresh my memory."

My eyes shot open to see Percy grinning his usua grin, the grin I had missed all to much when he left. I threw my arms around his neck and our lips crashed together. All around me, I hered wolf whistles and cheers, but all I cared about was the fact that Percy remembers me. We pulled away, completely out of breath, but grinning like crazy.

Percy pulled me into a hug and whispered into my ear. "I never forgot you Wisegirl, never for a second."

I hugged back tightly, finally letting three months worth of worry and fear be released, but none of that matters. All that matters is that I have my Seaweed Brain back and he remembers me. Everything was gonna be fine.
