Murdock stared in fear at the trio, his heart leaping into his throat as he was filled with fear.
"It's time, Murdock," one particularly handsome one said.
"Nooooo!" Murdock jumped to life and started to run. He knew it was futile, they would catch him eventually. But how much could he make them regret this one escapade?
He was shoved into the floor as he was tackled, pushing his face into the carpet and causing a definite rug burn. "Please don't! Don't touch me! Oh, please don't do this!"
His arms were pinned behind him, and someone picked up his feet, carrying him to a definitely scary and horrifying place.
"Oh, for the love of humanity! He cried out.
"It's for the love of humanity that we're doing this. You're probably carrying a couple of diseases in that rat's nest of yours," the handsome one said, setting him in a chair with his back to the bathroom sink. "It's not that bad. We don't need to use a sedative on you like we did last time, now do we?"
Murdock shook his head briskly, hoping that they'd change their minds. "Bbb... but I need those oils to protect me from the purple wobblies and-"
A comforting hand lay on his shoulder. He looked and realized that it belonged to Hannibal. "You ok, Captain?"
Murdock shook his head. "Not 'till you say I can go."
"Alright, then. Face, shall we get started?"
"Sounds good to me," Face said as he turned on the sink. "Murdock, tell me if the water is too hot or too cold."
"How 'bout if we don' have any water, an' we won't have to wonder," Murdock said hopefully as the sound of water echoed into his ears.
"Murdock," Face condoned as he pulled out the shampoo. "Seriously. How is it?"
The water reached the back of Murdock's skull, and Murdock shivered in scared anticipation. "It's a little cold."
Face adjusted the water temperature as he poured shampoo onto Murdock's scalp. "Sheesh, Murdock, you have more grease in your hair than is in all of B.A.'s van."
At the mention of his van, B.A. grunted from where he stood towering over Murdock.
"Looks like you're going to need a whole bottle of that stuff," Hannibal said to Face as he laid out a comb and scissors.
Murdock shivered again, wincing at the smell of the shampoo. He kept silent, knowing that whatever he said wouldn't make too much of a difference.
Face used a Tupperware cup to rinse out Murdock's hair, then washed it three times before he was confident that he had gotten out all the grease and dandruff. Then Hannibal stepped up with the scissors.
Hannibal combed Murdock's hair so that it was perfectly neat, then began to cut his hair so that it was straight and even.
"Alright, Murdock. We're done, but if you go and dig a pit of dirt to stick your head in, we'll do it again."
Murdock sighed, his plan already down the drain, along with the soapy water.
He hated getting his hair washed.
The End
