"Bad wolf bay" Rose whispered. It was still the depressing place it's always been.
"Two years..." He took her hand lacing their fingers together. Rose smiled up at The Doctor…no not The Doctor… Her Doctor.
"Why have you brought me here John?" John smith. The human name for the human doctor, he couldn't go by his true name, that didn't belong to him anymore. It never really did if you thought about it. He once thought of telling Rose but it was no longer his to tell so he chose the only other name he had.
"Ah ha! I was beginning to wonder when you would ask Miss Tyler." He grinned that cheeky smile of his.
"Well?" Rose asked. "Are you going to tell me?"
"I'm not getting any younger." He said their own private joke. She just rolled her eyes.
He took a breath and ran his free hand though his hair. "Let's walk and breathe in the fresh air while we still can." At a slow pace he led Rose down the beach to the water, where they dipped their toes in the icy waters.
Rose knew something was up, she was equally intrigued as she was concerned, not for his physical health; mental health however was a completely different matter. Since joining her two years ago in this once strange universe dimension. Her Doctor has been in many small adventures or misadventure some would say, always on the verge of some unique and completely bizarre discovery that means nothing to anyone besides himself. She always thought that if The Doctor weren't a time lord he would be some kind of mad scientist or simply mad, turns out she was right.
She remembered six months after he joined her and Jackie her mother was soon to give birth to her brother, he tried to convince the midwife he had some kind of technology that could save some children from having unfortunate looks.
Jackie almost shot him; Mickey on the other hand found it hilarious and almost got shot too. Moral of the story: never tell Jackie Tyler her child could be ugly.

The Doctor had been fidgeting for the last ten minutes as adorable as the doctor could be it was really beginning to get on Roses nerves.
"What is it?" she asked.
He looked at her and said "like I Said we're not getting any younger and we shouldn't waste-" Rose just stood there in front of him with a blank expression as he spoke a hundred words per-second, she couldn't keep up with the ramblings of a crazy man and it hurt her head to try.
"Please breath." She interrupted, when she thought his lips were turning purple.
"Okay" he pulled out two small pieces of paper and read slowly.
"Rose Tyler, you have shown me what it truly means to be human and that is something hundreds of years searching the universe could never do and you have gave me a home, something I haven't had in a very long time. Even though I can't give you the universe of show you the stars but rose" he breathed, looked Rose in the eyes, her smile giving him the courage to go on.
"Rose-"The ground began to shake, The Doctor held on to rose to keep her steady, there was a strangely familiar noise. One that had haunted Roses dreams. John watched her face pale.
"Rose are you okay?"
A chill ran though her body. " There here" she spoke I an numb voice.
