Chapter 1
E p.o.v Today was the first day of being a senior and I was running late! I somehow managed to sleep past the first three alarms and not even notice. I got up out of bad as fast as I could and got dressed. I did my makeup, brushed my teeth, and skipped breakfast so I wasn't super late. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where Jenna was making coffee and Alaric was watching her. "I think I'll grab a doughnut on my way to school", I said, walking over to grab a cup of coffee Jenna had just got done making. "Do you need a ride? I'm about to head to the school, to", said Alaric. When I was 17 my mom and dad died leaving my Aunt Jenna to take care of my brother, Jeremy, and I. Alaric, we call him Ric, is Jenna;s husband and the history teacher of the school Jeremy and me go to, Mystic Falls High. "Sure, I don't really have enough time to walk. Did Jeremy leave already?" "Ya. He just left", said Jenna. "Good. I should get going. Ric?" "Let's go", he said, and we headed to the high school.
