It was just another day at the moon base for the only operative there Numbuh 362 sighed as she looked at the pill of work on her desk she had spent the past week working on it and was only a third of the way through and had no one she could ask to help. Why? Because everyone had taken the day off to celebrate New Years. A couple of Operatives had invited her to various celebrations through the past week, a headbangers ball in Chicago, an all night soda party in Guatemala, and even The Big Ball Drop in time square. However, she was instead sitting at her desk staring at papers about weapons and missions and such.

"Everyone's having a good time but me," She muttered

Suddenly her video screen flicked on to see sectors V, B, Y, and S looking half soda-drunk and smiling.

"Hey, party-pooper" screamed numbuh 1 as he fell over his own two feet from while grabbing some food from a passer by.

"Umm… hey…who are all those kids there? " Numbuh 362 could tell he had gotten a hold of some root beer as he was holding a bottle of the stuff along with some chocolate cookies.

"Don't know don't care they just showed up aren't causing any problems. Now come have a little fun its only six o'clock you will probably make it were at sector Y's tree house"

"But…" she started she noticed he was more relaxed than usual (actually more relaxed than she had ever seen him) she knew it was the root beer.

"Oh come on the year 2009 only comes around once"

He was right it would and the paper work would still be there when she got back "Hey
yelled numbuh 86 yelled as she passed by she was to busy having a good time to say talk

"Ill see you there she said suddenly looking very serious about going. If numbuh 86 could have fun and be nice (which is very rare) so could she. Shutting off her screen she grabbed her jacket and flew down to earth. After all… 2009 only comes around once…
