Caliah: Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Tauren has been reading Free! fanfics lately, so I guess I wanted to try n' write one. I haven't delved TO deeply into the Free fandom (besides 50% Off, but I'm not sure that really counts) so expect OOC-ness. Anyway, enjoy the drabble.

Light glanced off the still water of the bath, distorting Haru's image of the room above. He waited a few more seconds, then surfaced, drawing in a deep breath. Two minutes. Not bad. He sunk back down, submerged up to his neck. Today was valentine's day, and he knew Makoto wanted them to hang out. He let out a deep breath, and raised an arm above the water, watching droplets run down and off his fingers. The two of them had been dating for quite a few months now, and he supposed he should do something for the olive haired boy. Haru dropped his hand, splashing water over the edge of the tub. What the hell was he suppose to get Makoto?

All of a sudden the bathroom's door swung open and Makoto popped his head in. Great timing.

"Always in the bath, geez, someday you'll catch a cold Haru-chan!"

The taller boy laughed, and leaned against the door frame. Haru shot an icy glare at his boyfriend.

"Don't call me Haru-chan."

Unfazed, Makoto padded over to the tub, and knelt next to it, a smile stretched across his face.

"Alright, alright, sorry."

The corner of Haru's lip twitched up, and his expression softened. A couple of months ago Makoto would have blushed, and become timid after the reprimand. He was glad he was opening up to him.

"Haru?"

"Yeah?"

"Happy valentine's day."

The green eyed boy leaned in to peck Haru on the cheek. He then offered out his hand, and the smaller boy grabbed it, pulling himself up. Water dripped down Haru's form, and he shook his head slightly, spraying droplets everywhere.

"Hey! Watch it!"

Makoto laughed, wiping the liquid off his face with the corner of his sleeve. He was wearing a light green sweater that hugged his body, showing off his lithe muscles. Haru stepped out of the bath, and walked over to his towel. After rubbing himself off, he threw it back onto its rack and grabbed Makoto's hand once more.

They ended up in Haru's bedroom, and the blue eyed boy rifled through his closet, and finally grabbed a simple white t-shirt to throw on. Makoto sat patiently on his bed, gazing at the object of his affection. When Haru was done changing, he patted the bed next to him. The shorter boy sat unceremoniously next to Makoto, and almost immediately had his arms wrapped around him. The olive haired swimmer nuzzled his face against his lovers neck.

"Can I make dinner for us tonight?"

Makoto's eyebrows drew together.

"Uh, I'm not sure that's a good idea. All you've made this week is fish, and I'm pretty sure eating that much isn't healthy."

"You can never have enough fish," Haru said defiantly as he curled up against Makoto.

With a sigh Makoto rest his chin on top of Haru's ebony coloured hair.

"Fine. Since it's valentine's day. But I'm cooking the rest of the week!"

The blue eyed boy nodded in acceptance.

"I should start soon then."

Makoto tightened his arms around him.

"Can't we stay like this a little longer?"

Haru turned to face his boyfriend, a small smile etched across his face.

"Yeah, I'm in no hurry."
