What to do.. Party?

Elena sighed. It wasn't easy to plan a surprise party for your 162 (3 this year) –year-old vampire boyfriend!

Meredith shot her a smile from the other side of the room. Meredith Sulez was Elena's best, most sensible, calm and organised friend; she was the best person to help in situations like this. So much better than her friend, Bonnie would have been..

Ah Bonnie, poor, sweet (a bit on the small side) Bonnie!

She was a bit of a scatterbrain and was more often than not, losing things. To top it all off, Bonnie was a Witch!

You would not be able to imagine how many times she's got spells really very badly wrong..

For, only last week Bonnie managed to turn Meredith into a horse. She was a rather pretty mare and a beauty to ride but (ignoring Damon's pleas for them not too) they found a way to reverse the spell and turn her back to calm, sensible and sometimes a little scary, (HUMAN) Meredith.

Damon Salvatore is Stefan's (bad-ass) older, leather jacking-wearing, dick of a brother. Elena recently found out that Damon actually wanted to be more than friends and in fact had feelings for her.

He didn't deny these feelings.

This of course made Stefan uneasy..

Damn it! Elena thought: Why does life have to be so complicated?

Shall I invite Damon? Would Stefan want him there? Would Damon want to be there? Would he even come?

A small voice in a Elena's head said; He would come if you asked him too..

"Hey-are you alright Honey?" Meredith walked over and said, looking concerned. "You look really tired.. and stressed. To be honest you look like Mrs Williams!"

Mrs Williams was Elena's next door neighbour- the girls were terrified of her, she liked to put her rabbit on a lead and walk it down the road. Over the years 'Mrs Williams' has become the name for grey-haired, old and weird.

"Do you wanna take a break and I'll have a go at the planning for a bit?"

Elena smiled. "Oh I love you! Thanks that would actually be amazing!" This made her friend laugh.

"Love you too. Go outside, clear your head a little.."

Elena walked towards the door and mouthed a 'thank you' to her friend. She opened the door and walked out into the big garden that was the Salvatore estate.
