The poison is running through my blood, slowly killing me. I almost find the will to smile. I am going to die. Finally I can be free of this hell. I fall slowly back onto the autumn leaves. I can finally be free.
"I'm coming, my love, I'm coming." I say the words so quietly that my lips barley move. The words are taken by the wind and blown somewhere so no one can ever hear them. I close my eyes preparing for the end. I see Marian. It does not occur to me that this is an unusual happenstance because it feels so right to see her walking through the forest in a shimmering silver travelling cloak.
So I reach out to her with my hand.
"I love you." I whisper and my words are lost in the wind once more. Then my hand drops away and I feel an intense sensation of falling and finally I am free.
Free to die.
I'm sorry about this, it's just something I came up with last night quickly.
I was in a mournful mood and listening to The Rueful Fate of Donna Noble last night, so go figure.
I sincerely apologise if this is absolute rubbish.
Thanks all :) especially Bee Fischer my BFFL, who will tell me the truth
