Title: Cherry Garcia
Pairing: Lila/Reid
Rating: K
Summary: prompt: Dane Cook - 'ice cream debacle'
"Did you eat my ice cream?" Lila asks.
"What?" Spencer asks, not looking up from his writing.
"My ice cream. The pint of Cherry Garcia."
He looks up. "You eat an ice cream that shares a name with a team mate."
"It's good ice cream, which I would be eating while sitting next to you, watching Grey's Anatomy, if someone with an IQ of 187 didn't eat it."
"I didn't eat your ice cream." He says, looking back at his notepad. "Did you check the freezer?"
She stares at him, like he's grown a second head. "Did I check the freezer, did you really just ask me that?"
He shrugs, leaning over to flip a few pages, reading pieces before making a face and grabbing another from under the one he was reading. She watches him.
"Spence! My ice cream. Do you know how much cardio I did this week just because I knew I was going to fly out here and get to have my delicious cherry ice cream with fudge and little bits of actual cherry?"
He looks up at her. "I don't even like cherries, Lye. You know this."
She huffs. "Then who ate my ice cream? The cat?"
"What cat?" He asks, furrowing his brows.
"Exactly!" She cries out.
He shakes his head before grabbing another book.
"Spence! You solve crimes for a living! Solve my crime!"
He ignores her, flipping a few pages, trying to find something.
"Spencer!"
He sighs, closing the book. "JJ was over with Henry a couple days ago. She put some bottles in the fridge. Maybe she checked the freezer or something."
Lila glares. "You let JJ steal my pint of Cherry Garcia?"
He watches her as she moves over into the bedroom and comes back with a cell phone.
He raises an eyebrow. "Lila, it's like 11pm."
"So? She stole my ice cream! She should have to deal with a crying baby."
"She's going to come into work and be angry at me for letting you wake her and Henry up."
"Well, maybe next time you won't let my Cherry Garcia ice cream wonder off with some blonde with a baby."
She starts dialing and Spencer laughs.
"Lye, I will go get you some more ice cream, okay? Just put the phone down."
"I want half a gallon now. Half a gallon or she gets a phone call."
He laughs and gets up, grabbing his keys. "You're horrible."
"I'm hungry!" She calls out as he walks out the door.
