This is just a one-shot of what would happen if Ichigo died killing Aizen his thoughts and stuff…..
Dieing Alone
The remnants of the final Getsuga Tensho faded as Ichigo finally fell forward into a puddle of some of his opponent's blood but mostly his own blood which leaked from a stab wound in his chest. The same wound that had given him the opening he needed to hit Aizen point-blank with Mugetsu… as his cheek and hair became stained with red he found himself oddly wishing that the final strike hadn't killed Aizen instantly so he wouldn't have been so lonely insults were better than silence…
Dieing alone
The thought chilled his now empty soul and though the sun beat down harshly on him, he was cold, freezing practically and if he had the strength to look would make sure his fingers weren't blue. He couldn't hold back a sigh as his knees curled into his chest, his friends were so far away they wouldn't come… but he knew it was better that way. They should remember him as their strong protector. If anyone saw him this way it would break them further than his death would.
It would ruin them.
He almost laughed at himself, he still couldn't afford to be selfish now even at the end even if he was dieing alone… He hoped Chad wouldn't feel guilty, that Orihime would forgive him for being so oblivious, that Uryu would take care of Karakuta, that the Soul Society learned there lesson about " the law" he hoped dad and Karin and Yuzu would understand would forgive him, that they all would forgive him for dieing alone
Dieing alone, the phrase sparked a memory of something Rukia had told him once.
/ "are you even listening!" yelled the chappy loving midget.
"Rukia, we're in the middle of a battle this isn't the time for a conversation."
She smacked Ichigo on the head again.
"all right Jeez."
Her face became serious then, they were after all in the middle of Huego Mundo
"Don't die-"
"I got that already"
Smack! "I wasn't done!" she huffed, "Something Kain- dono told me once, I would prefer you didn't die at all, but don't die alone because whoever you die with holds your heart"
He watched her shocked for a moment than nodded./
Ichigo sighed heavily again. He should have told Rukia there at that moment that he didn't agree with that statement at all.
He was beginning to fade now, soft black spot that danced acroos his vision were oddly relaxing as they pulled him into there world. The chill of death disappeared and a curling warmth replaced it as though the sun had finally reached him. His eyes began fluttering closed as is breathing slowed and his lips twitched up how could he have forgotten.
It didn't matter where you were… when you died, everyone should know that your heart was with those you cared about…. Because that's where it was in the first place…
Yup that's it…
