Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail. Mashima-sensei does.

She ran as fast as her legs can carry her, not stopping to take a single breath or to check on her badly wounded leg that seems to spurt blood whenever she puts too much force into it, dyeing the grass and rocks on the way crimson. In her hand is a dagger which she will unhesitatingly use to slit anybody's throat if they try to attack her. She can already feel her strength failing her.

"No. Please no. Milady, I beg of you. Please, save me," she prayed for the umpteenth times. Why is her mistress not answering her? Hadn't she heard her prayers? Is this her punishment for being rebellious and stubborn; the good Mistress ignoring her when she is in crisis?

She can hear her pursuer shouting profanities and mocking words at her but she doesn't care. All she needs right now is to get them off her tail. She tightened her hold on the dagger. Suddenly, the sound of the steps that has been following her and the yelling stopped. Did they already left her alone? Have they decided to just let her go? She continued running. She must not let...

"AAAHHHH!"

She screamed as she fell on her knees, an arrow embedded on her right thigh. She struggled to get up, only to fall again when another one hit her on the side. She tried to push herself off the ground but her knees were trembling. She is losing too much blood and her vision began to darken.

"I m-must not g-get c-ca-caught-t... I would rather die," she whispered keeping the dagger close to her. She gave up on trying to stand and started to crawl forward. In the distance, she can hear the clashing of swords and the shouts of bloodthirsty warriors.

Before she knew it, tears began to fall from her eyes. She knew that this time would come, that the truce will be broken and that they shall be under attack again. She silently wished she just died during the plague which annihilated a quarter of their people; or, she thought bitterly, when she was exposed in the mountains as an infant.

Another arrow found it's way on her body and pierced her lungs, causing her to cough up blood. She tried to ignore the pain and forced her body to move forward but footsteps running towards her made her stop and brought the dagger to her throat willing to end her life there if they force her to come with them. She looked up expecting to see her attacker. She froze when she saw who was standing before her...

"Alexios..."

"ALEXIOS!"

Juvia Lockser yelled as she woke from her sleep, heart beating fast like she just ran a mile. Clutching her chest while taking deep breaths and waiting for her racing heart to calm down, she felt something roll down her cheeks. Her left hand immediately wandered on her face, she was surprised to find it wet. Tears? Was she crying in her sleep? She wiped the tears from her cheeks quickly with both hands as if afraid that somebody might see her crying. She stared at her slightly wet hands as if they were the strangest thing that she's ever seen before taking a look at her bedside clock. 3:31 am.

"Alexios," she whispered as she held her head on her hands. "Who is he?" This was the third time that she dreamed of him, but the first time that it turned into a nightmare. The last time that she dreamed of him was two years ago. She thought back then that it's not worth stressing herself over.

Her dreams of him had always been short and she would just end up forgetting it in the morning. But this one, she is certain she won't forget anytime soon. It feels so real, although she cannot see what his face looks like since it was all blurry, it's like she was really there - dying. She flinched when she remembered that part.

She got up from her bed and walked to the kitchen to get herself a glass of water. Why does he appear on her dreams? She cannot remember ever meeting anyone named Alexios her entire life. There wasn't a lot of people around her growing up. Heck, she never even had friends back then.

What would have happened if she hadn't woke up? Would she really have died? She thought as she went back to bed. That dream was really bizarre. Who was attacking her? Why was Alexios there? Was he her attacker? There's a lot of questions in her mind that she knows she'll never be able to answer.

"Tch. Why is Juvia even overthinking about it? It's just a dream!" she uttered, smacking herself in the head. " It's still early. Juvia should just go back to sleep."

"Oi! Rain woman, are you even listening to me?"

"ALE-" her soul almost flew out of her body when a hand was slammed on the table. She composed herself and glared at her friend. "Why does Gajeel-kun have to do that? Of course Juvia was listening." She watched him scowl at her obvious startlement.

"Of course you are listening. What did I say again?" he sarcastically said, leaning back on his seat before crossing his arms on his chest.

"E-eto..." she started. She really wasn't paying attention to what he was saying. Her mind keeps on replaying her nightmare this morning. No matter how much she tried to push the memory aside, it keeps on popping in her mind. She bit her bottom lip, her hands finding the hem of her skirt fascinating.

"Tsk. What happened?" his eyes narrowing at her.

"What does Gajeel-kun mean?" she put on a look of confusion.

"You look so distracted. And for the record, you are simply sitting there instead of clinging on to stripper," he pointed out.

That's when it hit her. Gray-sama! How could she forget about her beloved Gray-sama? Her eyes wandered around the guild looking for a specific ice mage. What if he is injured because of a brawl with Natsu, who will tend to his injuries? Her mind began to wander. Gray-sama will think that she is a terrible girl because she wasn't there for him. He will not love her anymore... what if Gray-sama dies because nobody...

"Hey! Snap out of it!" she was brought back to reality by Gajeel's voice. "So, what happened?"

"Huh? Nothing happened to Juvia. She is just tired, that's all," she lied hoping he will buy it. He looks unconvinced, opened his mouth as if to argue, but closed it again. He simply shrugged.

"So I was saying, Lily and I are going to leave for three months to train for the Grand Magic Games," he slammed his fist in his palm. "Gihi. I cannot miss this opportunity to kick some fucker's ass."

"Juvia has to get stronger too so that Gray-sama will love her! Take me with you Gajeel-kun!"

"What? No! You know that I can only train alone. You just go train with somebody else," he stood up to leave. "See ya, Juvia!" he yelled behind his shoulders as he walked towards the doors.
