Luna and the Moon

Sometimes Ginny will waken, her hands reaching and closing around air in the dark of night. At first she was terrified, but now she knows not to worry.

Luna often goes out to their garden in the middle of the night, singing softly to the stars. Her voice is high and girlish when she sings, and it reminds Ginny of Hogwarts. Days when she and Luna sat under the tree by the lake and Ginny listened to her singing, slowly and surely falling in love with her.

Often Ginny will slip outside and rest against the door frame, straining to catch snippets of song. Other times she will pad silently across the dewy grass to Luna and the moon. Luna will smile over at her; soft, long hair framing her face, dispelling darkness.

Tonight she is too tired to move, so she rolls over to Luna's side of the bed, burying her head into the pillow and breathing deeply before drifting back to sleep.

Luna will be there when she wakes up.

This is my first attempt at Ginny/Luna. Please review and let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
