A/N: Because Marc needs to get a break, and seriously…there are no Betty&Marc stories on here? Utterly pathetic :]

"MARC!"

Marc St. James had only seconds to react before a very excited Betty Suarez came hurtling towards him. She stood in front of his desk, a look much like that of a mother who's kid just graduated from college.

"Calm down, Betty. Whatever new doughnut brand you're obsessed with isn't worth having a heart attack over," He smirked up at her.

She ignored the quip, and rushed on. "I just heard the NEWS!!"

"What's that?" Marc feigned ignorance.

"YOU'RE AN EDITOR!!" With that, she tackled him with one of her strangling hugs. He lightly hugged her back, before pushing away.

"Come on Betty, it's not that big of a deal," He said, rolling his eyes, but couldn't help the smile covering his face. He had hoped she would react this way, not that he would ever admit it.

"Marc, please," Now Betty was the one rolling her eyes. "You've been whining about your assitant job for years. Don't tell me you're not excited."

"Ok, I am," Marc's eyes lit up.

"Just think about it," Betty went on. "We will be working together! Two features editors, working in the same office. They're putting you with me, you know."

Marc let out a moan, while Betty grinned.
